The story follows a young man who has been single for a year after his boyfriend suddenly disappeared without a formal breakup. "Sparrow" depicts the story of Cha Eun Sook, who published a book titled "Jebi," which tells a story of the past during the military regime of Chun Doo Hwan in 1983, and her son, Lee Ho Yeon, who finds himself hidden in the book.

A spirited comedy that pokes fun at old-style Cantonese filmmaking and Wong Kar-Wai's 1990s art-house hits, but ever so gently. Dayo Wong plays a WK-W like director who is sent back 30 years and forced to make a movie under the conditions of the time. The film contains many refernces for film buffs, from Kwan Tak-Hing's cheesy "Wong Fei-Hung" series to the hilarious antics of "La Rose Noire". Review by Paul Thompson: You'll probably laugh, but you might not have gotten the object of satire by reading the subtitles, which is why I have provided this summary. I'm pretty sure Wong Jing was involved in this -- in fact one of the characters is Wong Jing as a young man. If you are a die hard Wong Kar Wai fan, you will laugh when you watch this film. "Those Were the days" speculates on what would happen if a hot international art house director (a.k.a. WKW) were transported back in time to the 1960s Hong Kong film industry. Highlights include: WKW meets Wong Jing as a child and profoundly influences career; WKW attempts to make his kind of films with the resources, talent, and expectations of 1960s HK filmmakers, and a lot of other Hong Kong /Wong Jing style zaniness.

A college senior, Boku, takes a bicycle trip for his last summer vacation. On his trip, he comes across drive-in "HOUSE475" and its manager Seiji. The college senior then helps out at the store and becomes influenced by his experience at "HOUSE475".

Soyo (Chun Jung-myung) is a quiet, conscientious sixth form student. Although he doesn’t enjoy school, he attends dutifully, without a word of complaint. And then, one day, he discovers inline skating. A complete beginner, he practices at first in a hidden corner of the park. Here, he meets a group of wild skaters and immediately, one skater, Mogi (Kim Kang-woo), catches his eye. His adventurous jumps and breathtaking loops defy all laws of gravity. Mogi is without doubt the star of the group. His stunts, his style and the cool way he executes even the most daring of figures are unrivalled. Mogi’s girlfriend, Hanjoo (Jo Yi-jin), invites Soyo to join their team and he accepts enthusiastically.[1] No sooner does he become a member of the skaters than his life changes completely. The loneliness Soyo sometimes felt simply disappears – as does his quiet existence. He soon makes enormous progress as a skater. Soyo’s life becomes faster and more exciting, and Mogi and Hanjoo turn out to be the kind of friends he always dreamed of having. The team are busy preparing for the world championships, in which Mogi is to take part. But then, disaster strikes. The film crew with whom Mogi is working on a commercial shoot is particularly condescending to him. He allows himself to be goaded into performing a particularly dangerous jump that ends in a bad accident. All at once, the whole team is completely absorbed with trying to scrape the money together to pay off their looming debts, and Mogi appears to have lost all interest in skating. Soyo’s faith in his new friends dwindles and the once-successful team threatens to fall apart.

Wine, a photographer, and Pii, a chef, are roommates. Their lives suddenly change when Pim and Fah move in next door. The two girls are Wine’s junior back in the university, and Pim also happens to be Wine’s first love, whom she still couldn't forget.

Upon meeting each other once again, Pim is now with her boyfriend. Wine is hurt to discover the news. Pii, wishing to save Wine from the heartache, tries to set her best friend up with Fah, Pim’s roommate. However, things get complicated when Fah starts to develop feelings for Pii instead.

Two young adults, Mitsuru and his girlfriend Maki, kidnap a little girl and hold her for ransom to pay off a drug-related a debt. As they hide out at an abandoned school, they attempt to call the girl's parents only to find out from her parents she has been dead for a year. Mitsuru's friends also arrive, with ulterior motives of their own. Soon, members of the group are brutally killed by an unseen force. Is the mysterious little girl responsible, or is something far more sinister at work?
