Kozono Yohei, secretary general of Shoto University, was found stabbed to death in his home. Hoshino Naoto, a detective at Fujimi Police Station, rushes to the scene and sees the scene of the murder in the living room. As someone who takes great pride in maintaining public order by handling cases accurately and promptly, Chizuru cannot understand Iruma’s style which frustrates her to no end. However, when she realises that Iruma believes in treating a case as an individual’s life, she is faced with the question, “What can a judge do aside from issuing a ruling?”

Eiichi wanted to become a top shogi player and attended a shogi player training center run by the Japan Shogi Association. One day, Eiichi comes across an AI based shogi computer program. The computer program is more creative and stronger than he expected. This piques Eiichi interest in computer programming, specifically for shogi games. He visits an AI research club and meets senior student Isono. He learns about computer programming from Isono and makes a new goal for himself. Eicchi now wants to write a top shogi computer program. A few years later, Eiichi wins a computer shogi competition. He receives a request to play against Riku.

However, the site where lifesaving is needed cannot wait. There are successive calls requesting for the Doctor Heli. And the collapsing of the subway tunnel happened. Haitani, who cannot go to the scene, had no choice but to make desperate efforts in the hospital.

Kazuo Fuikawa works as a emergency physician specializing in orthopedics and works with Megumi Shiraishi. Haruka Saejima still works as a nurse for flight doctors.

The original material for this drama comes from a blog titled "Gekikakusatsu SS Nikki" by a person named Mighty. In the drama, Inaba Hirotaro, who has only been devoted to working so far, is hooked on online games now that he is over 60.
