Sung Gil, an old funeral director, lives with his unwell son. Sung Gil is strong but poor. He is too poor to be forced to work as an employee of a large funeral company. A woman who has many stories moves to the next house with her little daughter, and she becomes a caretaker for Sung Gil’s ill son. Sung Gil’s son, who only wants to die, begins to know hope and happiness. Around that time, a benefactor of the town who cared for the homeless dies and the homeless want his funeral to be held in the town square. The old undertaker thinks it’s his job to do.

January 1968, 31 members of North Korean Special Unit 124 infiltrated South Korea with the ultimate mission of attacking the Blue House (Presidential Palace in Korea) and assassinating President PARK Chung-hee. When KIM Shin-jo, the only member who was captured alive, was asked "What was the purpose of infiltration?" on a live TV program, he shouted "I came to slit the throat of President PARK Chung-hee!" and made the whole country's blood run cold. At the same time, In-chan escapes the death penalty for being an accessory to a crime when he accepts an unexpected proposal from Jae-hyun, a general at Silmido H.I.D. Project and is transported to Silmido Special Unit. Silmido Special Unit is a unit composed of dysfunctional social outcasts and criminals under the death or life sentences. Sang-pil and Won-hee are also among the members of this unit. When they arrive at the island, Jae-hyun gives them the classified national duty, which is to explode the North Korean presidential palace and behead KIM Il-sung, the North Korean president. It is a retaliatory project. To its all 31 members, it is the ultimate patriotic mission with pride and loyalty; and it is the only chance they have to start a new life that is promised once the mission is successfully accomplished. With their hopes and promising vision, they survive through the most hellish inhumane 'killing' training and are reborn as human armories. They are the human killing machines, with strong comradeship and respect for each other. Finally, the day arrives and they receive an order from the head office to carry out the mission. With their supreme confidence, they depart for the North. However, the project is suddenly revoked and they return to Silmido with much discouragement and stress. After then, the hellish training continues but, there is no more mission. The psychological frustration and physical tolerance start to reach their limits. And soon, the members start to lose their focus and unity. In order to regain complete control of the unit, the head office performs public executions of its own members. Meanwhile in 1970, with growing nationwide peacemaking movement between the North and the South, the government quickly decides to demolish Silmido Special Unit and executes all its members...

In 1375, China was in a state of chaos because of fighting between the Yuan and Ming Dynasties. The korea dynasty, one of Korea's ancient kingdoms, sent a delegation of many diplomats, soldiers and a silent slave as envoys to make peace with the new Chinese government, Ming. However, this delegation was accused of spying and sent in exile to a remote desert. On the way, they were attacked by Yuan troops who killed all the Ming soldiers, leaving only korea warriors. The head envoy General CHOI Jung of the Royal Guard decides by himself that they must return to korea. Vice Envoy LEE Ji-hun dies from the strain of the march, and tension builds between LEE's bodyguard slave Yeosol and CHOI Jung. After overcoming countless obstacles, the korea warriors arrive at a peddler's inn in the middle of the desert and run into Yuan cavalry who have kidnapped Ming's princess Buyong. CHOI Jung falls in love with Buyong the moment he sees her. Meanwhile, Yeosol arrives later, dragging vice envoy LEE Ji-hun's body. He cuts off the head of a gypsy who spits on the dead body. Yuan general Rambulhwa sees Yeosol decapitate the gypsy with one strike. Princess Furong also looks on from her wagon. Yeosol is eventually taken captive by the Yuan cavalry. CHOI Jung picks up a note from Buyong written in her blood that says 'Help', and he decides to rescue her so that they can get a boat bound for korea. CHOI Jung's aide Ganam and a warrior from the Commoner's Army, Jinlip, oppose the idea, saying it would be futile. However, they end up proceeding with the rescue with Jinlip shooting the first arrow. Buyong is rescued, but only at the expense of many korea warriors' lives. Princess Furong and the korea warriors, whose destination is Nanjing (the old southern capital of China), arrive at the Yellow River Valley where they find all the ferry boats burnt by Yuan soldiers. There they run into a group of Han tribe refugees. Furong feels empathy for her people and promises to give the warriors a boat to korea if they take the refugees to the coast next to Mud Castle. They arrive at Mud Castle after even more trials, only to find the castle in ruins and no Ming soldiers. By this time, the Yuan soldiers have caught up with them and the korea travelers become increasingly nervous. The underlying conflict between CHOI Jung and Yeosol over princess Buyong also deepens. Now they must choose. Give up princess Buyong or fight to the death together. The moment of truth approaches Can they return to korea safely?

"Revivre" is about a middle aged man who is stuck between his dying wife and a younger woman he loves. It is based on a novel written by Kim Hoon which is also the Grand Prize winner of the 28th Top Literature Awards.

Vice President Oh is highly respected at his cosmetics company and is a faithful family man. Oh dreams of escaping his tedious and suffocating reality with Eun-joo. While in real life he has to go to the hospital and change his wife’s diaper after work, Eun-joo’s existence itself feels like a delight compared to his pitiful existence. Director Im Kwon-taek has directed several films that keenly look into human instinct, and Revivre is another one of them. The will to live, sexual instincts, the light and the darkness of life and fear and desperation about death are illustrated on the screen among other contradictory values, delivering the great director’s wisdom and understanding.

Hyeong-man is in his fifties and has regrettably never dated. After having lost all his money to a close friend, Hyeong-man spends his monotonous and frustrating life in his photo studio. One day, Hyeong-man decides to pay his fraudulent friend, Ki-hyuk, a visit, after having heard that he is dying of cancer. Ki-hyuk requests that Hyeong-man look after his daughter, Nam-eun, once in a while after he dies. After Ki-yuk passes away, Hyeong-man decides to visit his friend's daughter, who is surprisingly a full-grown woman. Noticing that Nam-eun is more distressed over the death of her pet cat than that of her father, Hyeong-man decides to look after her once in a while. Nam-eun finds her father's silly and unmarried friend quite interesting. Using Hyeong-man's dirty laundry as an excuse, Nam-eun frequently visits Hyeong-man, gradually expressing her feelings for him. Although awkward and surprised at first, Hyeong-man is curious about his feelings for his friend's daughter and soon Hyeong-man and Nam-eun begin to go on a series of unusual dates.

Mi-Jin is identified as the woman involved in a sexual relationship with a well known politician (Ahn Sung-Ki). The source of the leaks are completely unknown. Woo-Gon tries to explain that the tabloid rumors about his client are completely untrue, but nobody listens. A few days later, Mi-Jin is found dead in her apartment. Woo-Gon then decides to find those responsible for spreading the false rumors about Mi-Jin.

A gum-popping student wearing a very short uniform and a weird hair-do is looking for 'zzang', the school boss. She turns out to be the new teacher, Choi Eun-soo, who was trying to get a grasp of situation in the classroom. Eun-soo has been sacked from numerous schools due to her eccentricity and too-strong dedication to teaching. She finally meets her match in Yeong-hee, the troublemaker in her class. Unable to deal with Yeong-hee who lives to rebel, Eun-soo finally decides to call her parents.

"The Blue House, how may I help you?"

What?!? The Blue House?!? Then Young-hee lives in the Blue House? Yes, Young-hee turns out to be a First Daughter, who is being raised by Han Min-wook, the popular president with his good looks and integrity. But Eun-soo is not deterred by the title. The serialized novel brings him back in contact with a former soldier who served under him, PFC Pyon Chinsu, the one-time company clown driven mad by the violence of the war and who now looks to Han for some sort of emotional rescue.

The Last Witness (Hangul: ??? ??; RR: Choehuui jeungin) is a 1980 South Korean mystery film directed by Lee Doo-yong, based on the 1974 novel of the same title by Kim Seong-jong. When the film was originally released, a 40-minute portion was cut due to censorship laws of that time.[1] A remake with the same title was released in 2001.
