South Korean filmmaker Jang Jin directs the action comedy Killeodeureui Suda, which is given the grammatically questionable English title Guns & Talks. The story involves a group of young attractive hitmen who live in a house together. Sang-yeon (Shin Hyun-Joon) is the leader, Jung-woo (Shin Ha-kyun) is the demolitions expert, Jae-young (Jung Jae-yeong) is the sniper, and Ha-yeon (Weon Bin) is the youngest who just wants to be one of the guys. They tell random one-line jokes and get into absurd situations in between all the assassinations involving attractive women. Jae-young is hired to kill a pregnant woman but he falls for her at the last second. A high school girl wants them to do a job for her, and Ha-yeon falls for her. The two girls decide to join their school's cheerleading club Millennium Girls, which has members including transfer student Se Hyun. Se Hyun did cheerleading activity at her prior school in Seoul. Based on a novel by 30-year-old Kaori Mado, How To Become Myself, tells the tale of two girls faced with that typical adolescent choice, fit in or be cast out. Juri portrays the role of the ideal daughter at home and in school, but all she really wants is for her parents to stop fighting. Deep down, she admires her popular primary school classmate Kanako. However, Kanako suddenly becomes the class outcast. Years later in high school and still craving popularity, Kanako begins receiving mysterious emails about a popular girl named Hina. Inspired, she adopts this fake persona. But what happens when the emails stop? At first glance, this seems like another seishun eiga or youth drama. But Jun Ichikawa transcends the clichés associated with this popular film genre and focuses on how two girls struggle to define their individual identities in modern Japanese society.

A snapshot of young love in the 1970s: two school friends, growing up in Beijing, both with different backgrounds and different families. Directed by Gordon Chan, "The Four" is an adaptation of one of Wan Ray-an's classic wuxia novels, revolving around four famous detectives in ancient China.
