Jung-yoon was approached by a random stranger named Jun-woo, who told her she'd be dead in six hours. As she follows him for answers, she begins to question whether he's her savior or the one trying to put her in danger.

On a pretty, placid little island in the Japanese countryside, Nishikita teaches physical education at the high school he himself attended. The man is hardly an agent of change. He knows his place in the order of things and is careful not to rock the boat, perhaps even a little too much. When he receives a call from a former classmate Takagi, announcing her return, a flash of emotion strikes him. Takagi was Nishikita's best friend and unrequited first love, who had suddenly moved to Paris 10 years earlier to study. At the time, Takagi was constantly teasing him to shake him out of his torpor, and he notices that her attitude hasn't changed in the slightest when they are reunited. In fact, while in France she has only improved in the art of the retort, and Nishikita is still as bad at it as ever. He'll have to get used to it, though, as the new teacher he'll have to train is none other than the beautiful Takagi.

Two old college pals, Asai and Jiyong, make their annual pilgrimage up a mountain in the middle of winter in honor of their friend Sayuri who disappeared there 16 years earlier. The problem, if there is one, is that Asai finds a cabin nearby that they hadn’t seen because of the blinding storm. Once inside, the murderer's confession takes on a whole new dimension, and let's just say that the elephant in the room is more of a mammoth. To say that it's going to be a long night would be an understatement.

In an ambush reminiscent of Miike’s 13 Assassins, although pre-dating that incident by 160 years, the heir to the shogun’s seat is brutally cut down by those who hope to install the emperor’s 5th son as military leader of the nation. A cast of big-name stars led by Matsukata Hiroki and Tanba Tetsuro bring their acting and action skills to the forefront. This made for television movie is directed by internationally renowned filmmaker Masuda Toshio (Tora! Tora! Tora!), whose record breaking box office success in Japan makes this a film that highlights a little known incident that helped change Japan’s future.

After Jae-Hyun is discharged from the military, he begins to sell roasted sweet potatoes to pay for his university tuition fees. Hye-Ri works at a room salon. She often buys roasted sweet potatoes from Jae-Hyun. One day, drunken Hye-Ri goes to Jae-Hyun and asks him to be her friend. Jae-Hyun says yes. Later, at the corner of an alley, Hye-Ri is bitten by an employee at the room salon. Jae-Hyun helps her and they become closer. Through chance, they spend a night together. The next morning, Hye-Ri finds money apparently left behind on purpose by Jae-Hyun. She is hurt by his actions and never sees Jae-Hyun again. Jae-Hyun now works at an insurance company. Hye-Ri then reappears in Jae-Hyun's life and they fall in love. They even begin to live together. Suddenly, Hye-Ri tells Jae-Hyun that she wants to become an actress. Jae-Hyun supports her, but he eventually tires of supporting her. Around this time, Jae-Hyun begins a relationship with a beautiful client. The relationship between Jae-Hyun and Hye-Ri is now shattered. To make matters worse, goons from the room salon where Hye-Ri formerly worked, begin to look for her and pressures Jae-Hyun.

“Single in Seoul” is a melodrama about two drastically different people who meet through an essay about the single life, and in the process, they rediscover their old wounds from past loves.

Lee Dong Wook is in talks to play Park Young Ho who thoroughly enjoys the single life and lives on the borderline of being emotional and being pretentious. He’s also a popular lecturer and an influencer with 300,000 followers. Im Soo Jung is in talks to play Joo Hyun Jin, Park Young Ho’s college junior and editor-in-chief who is in charge of the essay series titled “Single in the City”.

Gun Woo is an honest and hardworking courier who even won a Model Citizen Award for saving a singer from a robbery incident. Out of the blue, his old friend Moo Yeol comes to visit him at work. With just a short moment to enjoy the pleasant surprise, Gun Woo witnesses a bombing incident that kills a presidential candidate right before his eyes. Moo Yeol tells Gun Woo that he is responsible for the bombing and that everyone will come after him as it is the agency's plan to make him the prime suspect. Gun Woo manages to flee from the scene but all evidences, including security camera footages, witness testimonies and fingerprints point toward him as the suspect. He meets former secret agent Mr. Min, who is an old friend of Moo Yeol and he helps out clear his name. Gun Woo must fight with all his strength to stay alive. However, as he tries to run away, everyone around him is put into dangerous situations, including old friends Dong Kyu, Geum Chul and Sun Young.

The film depicts the real-life story of Chiang Bi Yu. In the 1940s, she and her newlywed husband, Chung Hao Tung, head to mainland China to join the anti-Japanese resistance. It consists of three intermingling storylines and scattered throughout the film are interludes of an actress who prepares for the role of Chiang Bi Yu, and confronts her deceased boyfriend's past.
