A coastal city in Brazil. Kai arrives from Taiwan for holidays with a broken heart. A broken air conditioner sends her into Fu Ang’s umbrella store. He could become a friend, but the rainy season doesn't arrive and his shop disappears. While looking for Fu Ang, Kai discovers the story of Xiaoxin and a group of Chinese workers in a posh skyscraper. Kai finds herself strangely mirrored in Xiaoxin’s tale.

In the Wanli Year of the Ming Dynasty, marauders team up with spies in the imperial court to frame the family of Lord Qiu, Minister of War. However, the youngest daughter Qiu Moyan is rescued by the warrior Zhou Huai'an. Before his death, Lord Qiu hands over the Ming Dynasty's coastal defense plan to his daughter, hoping to entrust it to someone who could shoulder the important responsibility of saving the dynasty. In order to obtain the defense plan, the marauders hunt down Zhou Huai’an and Qiu Moyan. The imperial court also lists the two as the most wanted criminals. To protect the defense plan and the descendant of the Qiu family, Zhou Huai’an looks for Dragon Gate Inn’s boss Jin Xiangyu for help. For the love of her life, Jin Xiangyu hides the defense map in the inn and transforms the inn into a dragon ship that stays away from the martial world, protecting the defense map until the right time comes. Unexpectedly, Qiu Moyan accidentally falls into the hands of the marauders. At the same time, the imperial court also sends Xu Yi, a crime-solving expert, to the ship to arrest Zhou Huai’an and Qiu Moyan. With different agendas, several forces fight to the death on this strange dragon ship.

Set during the end of China's Cultural Revolution in a small village in Yichang City, Hubei Province, a pure love unfolds between beautiful city girl Jing Qiu and handsome young villager Lao San. SPL aka Saat Po Long/Sha Po Lang aka Kill Zone is the best Hong Kong actioner in years, featuring superb performances from Donnie Yen, Sammo Hung and Simon Yam and some seriously vicious I'm-not-showing-off-I-really-want-to-kill-you fight scenes. A successful serious crime investigation police unit, headed by articulate senior detective Chan (Simon Yam), tackles crime with three other detectives from different backgrounds. Martial arts expert Ma (Donnie Yen) is set to take over as head of the unit, replacing Chan who wants to have an early retirement. Ma is determined to put things right. Po (Sammo Hung), an upcoming figure in the underworld with interests in every kind of criminal activity, and Jack (Jing Wu) – Po’s right-hand man, is a reclusive cold-blooded 

"Closer to Heaven" tells the love story between Jong-woo (Kim Myeong-Min) and Ji-su (Ha Ji-Won). Although Jong-woo suffers from Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (Lou Gehrig's Disease), he is still a bright and cheerful person. Ji-su works as a co-ordinator in a funeral home. She deals with death everyday and doesn't think twice about Jong-woo's disease. The couple then falls in love.

After realizing that the fundamental cure for these women is the Japanese government’s official statement of apology and compensation, Moon prepares for trial at her own expense. Finally, in 1998, after 6 long years, they face the verdict of the Shimonoseki trial.

Amechiyo (the banished prince) falls in love with Tanukihime (a princess of raccoon dog disguised as human). This is an operetta which includes comedy, singing and dancing, and a love story.

From the director of the cult hit Suicide Club comes an unsettling look at the life of a sexually-abused adolescent whose inability to distinguish her mother's pleasure from her own pain sends her down a dark and surreal path. Sexually molested by her father Gozu (Hiroshi Oguchi) and mentally tormented by her jealous mother Sayuri (Masumi Miyazaki), twelve-year old Mitsuko (Rie Kuwana) is locked in a cello case and forced to watch her parents perform a series of intimate acts. When Mitsuko's mother dies as the result of a fatal fall, the deeply disturbed young girl begins to believe that she has, in fact, been transformed into her own mother. Her father viewing the death of his wife and mental malaise of his daughter as a motivator to ramp up the incestuous relations with his increasingly unhinged offspring, Mitsuko eventually ends up restricted to a wheelchair following a failed suicide attempt. Later, it begins to appear that the preceding events were nothing more than the details of a new novel by reclusive, wheelchair-bound author Taeko (also Miyazaki). When Taeko's trusted editor places his fey personal assistant Yuji (Issei Ishida) in charge of the successful writer, the probing Yuji launches a clandestine investigation into Taeko's background while simultaneously being forced to satisfy her deepest and darkest fantasies.
