On Sado Island, Kii works as a cleaner at a gold mine. One day, she finds a collapsed woman in the facility and takes the woman to her home. The woman doesn't remember her past or even her name. The woman is named Midori by the two other girls living with Kii. Kii gets permission from the director for Midori to work as a cleaner at the mine. One day, Midori is attracted by the presence of cats and this leads her to meet Ao, who works as a night guard at the gold mine. Ao tells her that he also doesn't remember his past. Midori and Ao get attracted to each other and spend time together. One day, Midori meets Murasaki who seems to have a close relationship with Ao. This disturbs Midori.

Su-an, a performing arts high school student, becomes close with Seol, an actress and celebrity. During a trip, they realize that they have feelings for each other. However, misunderstandings pile up too much, and Seol leaves Su-an. Su-an later becomes an actress and returns to the winter sea, longing for Seol.

Hui (Michael Hui), an owner of a Hong Kong tabloid magazine company, hires martial artist Bill Lee (Sam Hui) to help him get a good headliner for a magazine story to, hopefully, save his failing business. In the process, Bill meets San-San (Catherine Hung Yan), the fiancée of a wealthy jewelry business owner, and pursues her in order to get the scoop about her life. After thinking that San-San would make a great headliner, Bill feels sorry for her because of her troubled life: her mother has cancer, her brother is mentally disabled and her fiancé puts work before her. Thus, Bill is reluctant to publish San-San's story, putting the tabloid company's fate in his hands.

In a hair salon in an alley, apprentice Fen practices day and night in the hope of becoming a fully-fledged hairdresser soon. Laila and Majnu are two precious stones, which has value only if they are together. It is now possessed by an underworld don in Goa, who tries to sell it, in order not to lose it to his son, Gabbar, whom he despises. Don approaches two lowly thugs, Pancho and Vinci and offers it for a price of ₹10 crores. They agree and ask for a week's time to arrange the money. Billy, who is Gabbar's man, learns of this and offers Pancho and Vinci ₹100 crores to buy it. Pancho and Vinci gets ₹5 crores from Blacky, which actually belongs to the Tarkovs (the Russian mob in Goa). For the remaining ₹5 crores, they plan to rob the black money of Podiyadis (a local hawala gang in Kerala). While the deal happens, things get mixed up and lead to a big gang war between all the groups.

The film revolves around a girl who is being bullied at school and her relationship with a tough street kid, with whom she is implicated in the murder of a teenage girl.
