A coastal city in Brazil. Kai arrives from Taiwan for holidays with a broken heart. A broken air conditioner sends her into Fu Ang’s umbrella store. He could become a friend, but the rainy season doesn't arrive and his shop disappears. While looking for Fu Ang, Kai discovers the story of Xiaoxin and a group of Chinese workers in a posh skyscraper. Kai finds herself strangely mirrored in Xiaoxin’s tale.

In the Wanli Year of the Ming Dynasty, marauders team up with spies in the imperial court to frame the family of Lord Qiu, Minister of War. Unexpectedly, Qiu Moyan accidentally falls into the hands of the marauders. At the same time, the imperial court also sends Xu Yi, a crime-solving expert, to the ship to arrest Zhou Huai’an and Qiu Moyan. With different agendas, several forces fight to the death on this strange dragon ship.

Tsubame (Kaya Kiyohara) is a 14-year-old girl. She has a crush on university student Toru (Kentaro Ito), who lives in the same neighborhood. Tsubame lives in a warm environment with her father Toshio (Hidetaka Yoshioka) and stepmother Asako (Maki Sakai), but, one day, she learns that Asako is pregnant. She finds a strange kickboard scooter and a mysterious old woman Hoshi-baa (Kaori Momoi) appears in front of her.

Dae-Hee (Yoon Je-Moon) is a low level city government employee in the Mapo district of Seoul. His department handles various issues like trash, noise, and public safety. Dae-Hee isn't married, nor does he have a girlfriend at the moment. He also doesn't have many hobbies. Dae-Hee enjoys memorizing facts from books to impress his colleagues and watching television until falling asleep. You can say he is conservative and his job at the city government office suits him well. Within the Mapo district lies the Hongdae area famous for the thriving indie rock music scene. Dae-Hee leaves with a co-worker to talk with a band who has received numerous complaints from neighbors about loud noise in a residential neighborhood. The band is practicing for their next album which is coming out in the upcoming days. They are disheartened when Dae-Hee and his co-worker informs them they have to stop playing in their rented basement. During their talk, a man comes by and offers the band to rent his attic room for a generous price. Dae-hee and his co-worker knows something is fishy, but just go about their business. The next day, the band discovers their musical instruments and rent money stolen by the con man who offered to rent his apartment. Meanwhile, they become angry at civil worker Dae-Hee who introduced them to the con man. They go visit Dae-Hee at his office. To avoid a scene in front of his boss, Dae-Hee quickly offers the band his basement for their practice sessions. Dae-Hee seems to have little interest in music or the kids. Yet, days later when 2 members quit the band, Dae-Hee is recruited to join the band as their bassist ....

Ji Hyun attends an interview in Seoul before taking a train back to his hometown of Chuncheon. On the way, he sits next to a middle-aged couple. The film soon separates into two stories, one following Ji Hyun and the other following the couple.

Ji Hyun, dreaming of getting a job in Seoul, falls into despair after failing his interview. Drowning his sorrows with alcohol, he narrowly escapes a dangerous situation thanks to the help of a friend. Together, they head aimlessly to Cheongpyeongsa Temple, but he misses the last ride back home and decides to stay the night. The middle-aged couple also heads toward Cheongpyeongsa Temple. They open up to each other by recalling memories of their first loves. The night passes like a dream and they get back on the train to Seoul.

White Vengeance tells the story of two brothers contending for supremacy during the fall of the Qin Dynasty, which ruled Imperial China from 221 to 206 BC. As rebels rose, the nation fell into chaos. Xiang planned to kill Liu at a banquet held in Hong Men, during which Zhang Liang (Zhang Hanyu), the mastermind of Liu Bang, and Fan Zeng (Anthony Wong), the mastermind of Xiang Yu, have a direct confrontation.
