Aruo, the dragon girl from the East China Sea, is determined to find her beloved, and comes to the mortal Wang Sheng at all costs. The 300 Million Yen Affair is one of the most well-known real-life unsolved crimes in Japan. The incident took place on the rainy morning of December 10, 1968, when a car that carried 300 million Yen was hijacked by a criminal wearing a fake policeman's outfit. Even though more than 100 pieces of evidence were left behind by the criminals, with 170,000 policemen against 110,000 suspects spending almost a billion yen in the investigation, nobody was arrested and the stolen money was never found. The investigation was officially closed for prescription in 1975.

Lee Ji-Bong (Lee Beom-Soo) is a former 1988 Seoul Summer Olympics bronze medalist for weight-lifting, but a career-ending injury from the games forces him into early retirement. Unable to find another vocation because of the lack of support from the Korean Olympic Committee, he becomes destitute. Down and out, he ends up working at a shady nightclub passing out flyers that advertises its hostesses to passersby until he is visited by his former coach who insists he begin a career as a coach at a high school in Boseong - a rural region at the southwest tip of the Korean peninsula. There, he forms a weight-lifting team comprised of a rag-tag group of outcasts.

“Singer” is a film about pansori, a traditional Korean music genre of expressive singing and storytelling. It will take place in year 1734 during the Joseon Dynasty and tell the story of people in the lowest social status who write and sing songs about their lives while being exploited by aristocrats.
