For eight years three grandmothers saved their money for a VIP tour packages to Hawaii. The grandmothers have all had difficult experiences and used their dream vacation as a beacon of hope in their lives. The grandmothers then go to the bank to wire their money, but at that moment the bank is held up by robbers. The grandmothers lose their savings and the bank can't offer any assistance. It is at this moment that the grandmothers set off track the robbers down themselves. Using their guile and wisdom the grandmothers are able to track one of the thieves down named Joon-Suk (Lim Chang Jung). Unfortunately for the grandmothers, Joon-Suk was swindled by his gang and is now completely broke. The grandmothers are not willing to give up their dream vacation. They then make Joon-Suk train them in the art of bank robbing and the grandmothers then set out to rob banks themselves ...

Sai is a location manager who takes lots of photos and archives them by year. As the movie opens, she and Oom, the art director, are scouting locations for a feature film. They start to warm to each other and Oom asks her to take their picture together. At this point we cut to the film’s credits, and when we return to the story years have passed. She’s onto another movie and needs to find photos of that time, but discovers that her hard drive has failed. As she waits to see if the photos can be recovered, she wonders the same thing about the relationship.

She is in a relationship with Xu (Andy On) which her uncle disapproves, due to his often run in with the law. He thus setup a match-making lunch for her and Loy with Loy's mother. Loy and Oi Lin did not fall for each other at their first meeting. But their families kept their hopes up. Loy's mother made Loy deliver a dehumidifier to Oi Lin's store personally. Then Oi Lin's uncle made her go for tea with Loy at a nearby Cha chaan teng (Honolulu Coffee Shop). The two stuck up a friendship after discovering a mutual interest in detective stories.
