After suffering from serial paranormal events, a wealthy family living in LA summons a young rising shaman duo Hwa Rim and Bong Gil to save the newborn of the family. Once they arrive, Hwa Rim senses a dark shadow of their ancestor has latched on the family in a so-called 'Grave Calling'.

In order to exhume the grave and relieve the ancestor, Hwa Rim seeks help from top-notch geomancer Sang Deok and mortician Yeong Geun. To their dismay, the four find the grave at a shady location in a remote village in Korea. Unaware of the consequences, the exhumation is carried out, unleashing a malevolent force buried underneath.

Hana is a high school student. Her parents suddenly died in an accident. Since then, Hana doesn't have any hope to live. One day, a man introduces himself to Hana as an agent from a special government agency. He asks Hana to talk about a dream she. She is confused by what he talked about. On that night, Hana has a strange dream.

Kyoji Narita is a high ranking yakuza member. On a rainy day, he wanders on the street. He hears a singing sound and he walks towards the sound. There, he meets junior high school student Satomi Oka and he invites him to go to a karaoke place to teach him to sing. Kyoji Narita badly wants to improve his singing so he won't place last in his gang's karaoke competition. Meanwhile, Satomi Oka is a 3rd grade junior high school students and leads the school choral club. Satomi Oka has a sincere personality, but he often makes biting remarks. He has one problem, which is that he has difficulties with high-pitched notes due to his voice going through puberty. Satomi Oka is embarrassed by the unexpected request from Kyoji Narita.

A fractured family of four brothers and one sister confront haunting memories of their mother’s passing fifteen years ago. Fifteen years had passed, as Nicole (Summer Chan) returns home to Hong Kong to be reunited with her three brothers, clinging to the shattered memory from the night of her mother’s passing. Through hypnosis sessions with her big brother Joseph (Simon Yam), the trauma that the family sustained is unexpectedly reawakened when she desires to connect back with the memories. Then, the whole world around this family takes on a dark form and love becomes almost undefinable.

Nearly everything about Tachiguishi Retsuden defies easy explanation. Like the title, for starters. It literally means something like “The Legendary Masters of Eating While Standing,” while Production I.G. has apparently gone with the more spirited “Tachigui: The Amazing Lives of Fast Food Grifters.” Unlike the majority of his other films, it's a parody. It's animated, but it isn't anime. It's comprised of still photos of actors and settings that have been digitally animated into life, stop-motion style. But that being said, there isn't a whole hell of a lot of motion, either. Major portions of the film consist of long (long) stretches of narraration over grainy, colorized black and white stills. Sounds confusing? I haven't even gotten to the plot. It's like Tampopo meets Jin-Roh, a sprawling (and totally fictional) documentary chronicling dine-and-dashers in Japan's postwar era. The story opens in the tiny standing room only noodle shops that sprang up during the occupation, and ends among the hamburger stands, beef bowl joints, and curry restaurants that serve up the majority of Japan's fast food today. The various protagonists aren't cast as criminals, but as anti-heroes and springboards for social satire. Sounds simple enough on the surface, but this is Mamoru Oshii we're talking about. Their “amazing lives” unfold in an incredibly dense narrative, crammed full of trivia, pop-culture references, and Japanese urban legends, the vast majority completely unknown to foreign audiences.

'Hommage' means respect in French and is a movie about a middle-aged woman who struggled with her dreams and her daily life as a film director as she unfolds her journey of restoring a film of a female director from the 60s. It is a movie that raises the question of what a film is.

A delightful dissection of human rights in this day and age through a student who gets punished for wanting to eat deokbokki, a man with delusions of grandeur, an insurance agent who spends a strange day.

Former national swimmer Cheon Soo dreams of traveling to Palau, and to fund his trip he works as a swimming instructor by day while gambling at night. However, after losing a game of poker he finds himself heavily in debt and in trouble with the loan sharks. Kang, the head of a local drug syndicate, offers to pay off Cheon Soo's debts; in return, Cheon Soo must work as a "marine boy", a mule who smuggles drugs across the open waters. Knowing the danger he faces, Cheon Soo tries to make a run for it, but he is arrested at the airport by police detective Kim Gae Ko. Detective Kim is intent on capturing Kang and faced with no other choice, Cheon Soo agrees to work as a spy on his behalf. His situation becomes further complicated when he falls for Yu Ri, a jazz singer under Kang's charge and the daughter of Kang's best friend. But Yu Ri suspects Kang of killing her father, and she and Cheon Soo plot to take the drug money for themselves.
