Troubling circumstances bring forward three women who work together to plot their revenge against one common man who is responsible for destroying their lives.

Yuki (Tsubasa Honda) is a 2nd year high school student. She volunteers at a paediatrics ward for her summer vacation, because she wants to witness the moment a person dies. She got that thought after feeling envious of a transfer student's story of seeing a friend's dead body. Yuki has friend named Atsuko (Mizuki Yamamoto). She was bullied in the past and has anxiety issues. She volunteers at a nursing home for her summer vacation, hoping that she will gain courage if she sees the moment a person dies.

A remote village in the hills of West Hunan, where water, the most precious resource, is carried on strong backs up from the valley below each day as it has for centuries. “Endless Way” follows the struggles of Ah Ming, who now must also begin a life of endless labor to bring this almost sacred commodity to his family. We enter their lives at a traditional wedding, where Ah Ming is to marry a young girl from a neighboring village, as his true love Ah Shui sadly offers her blessings from the sidelines. But there is no room for marital bliss, as the young wife, unable to cope with the harsh routine that each villager must endure, leaves Ah Ming never to return. The longsuffering Ah Shui steps forth to care for Ah Ming and his ailing mother, sharing their pain and grief. They all bear the burden of their endless way knowing that as they trudge their valuable cargo to the top, the government has renewed work on the canals and dams to bring the water directly to the village. The villagers, seeing a better future, toil eagerly and full of hope on this project, though it has already cost them dearly in lives, including the father of Ah Ming. Unhappily, before his father's dream will be realized, tragedy will strike once more.

Hiroshi Tanaka (Shota Matsuda) sports an intense perm which looks like the afro hairstyle favored by some African-Americans back in the 1970's. He doesn't get his hair done at a hair shop, he was actually born with his hair like that. For freedom, Hiroshi moves to Tokyo. He works hard there and, even though he turns 24, he still doesn't have a girlfriend. Meanwhile, a school friend informs Hiroshi that he is going to get married. Hiroshi remembers a promise that they made. Hiroshi is even more impatient to find a girlfriend. A beautiful woman named Aya Kato (Nozomi Sasaki) then moves into the neighborhood.

Soo Yeon and Se Hyeok have been married for 10 years. Se Hyeok has an aspermia, Soo Yeon has an insensitivity to sex, and they do not have a kid. While their marriage looks comfortable amid economic stability, it is frustrating to Soo Yeon who was once a promising dancer but stopped her career due to an injury. After they moved from Seoul to Busan due to Se Hyeok's work, she starts to teach Joon Hee who once dreamed of being an actor but now has paralysis of her lower body. Remain is about the rupture in life when a person who used to have no sense of life now feels joy of the life through the body. The protagonist who has been injured meets a girl that has more severe injury than she used to. They become self-aware of each other's body and rehabilitate through their mutual body communication. But finally, their body's liberation destroys the existing relationship of their lives.
