Aruo, the dragon girl from the East China Sea, is determined to find her beloved, and comes to the mortal Wang Sheng at all costs. However, the fox demon Xiaoman wants to get the most precious spiritual leaf from the dragon girl, and designs to break Wang Sheng's heart. Aruo has no choice but to use Lingye made up for Wang Sheng's heart, so the two women started a "heart-stealing" contest with Wang Sheng as the center.

Facing an unacceptable reality, a teacher is trying to reclaim relationships with his family, students and former friends. Reassessing his past, he contemplates how to go on with his life.

When the world is hit with a naturally occuring virus that spreads among all living things, humans begin to turn into insatiable zombies. In a blink, the world as we know it collapses. Saeba Ryo is a "sweeper" in the city of Tokyo. He works as a trouble shooter, cleaning the streets of vermin, and helping out desperate people. Sometimes he's a bodyguard, sometimes he's an assassin, whatever Ryo does he does it well. In fact, his only flaw is his hormones - he loves the ladies and sometimes turns into an idiot when he's near them. Thankfully he's got people like his partner Kaori Makimura to keep him in check.

Weedy office worker Cheung is sent to a remote village to secure property rights for his real estate company. Two martial artists run the village's teahouse, which was once the kung-fu school of their teacher Master Law. Law is in fact lying unconscious upstairs in a three decades-long coma, but he awakes when gym boss and local landlord Pong attempts to secure the teahouse for redevelopment. Law mistakes Cheung for a former student and starts training him in preparation for a martial-arts tournament at Pong's gym that will decide all their fates.

Yamato talks Mitsuomi into helping out on the farm and that's when their relationship grows and begins to change them both.

Ishimatsu is nothing more than an anonymous dishwasher when he saves the life a yakuza Godfather. As thanks for his act of bravery, Ishimatsu is welcomed into the Sawada family as a high ranking soldier, even though he has no real experience within the mob. As Ishimatsu moves forward within the organization, it becomes clear that he is a wildcard player, prone to unexpected outbursts of violence that are unwarranted even in the world of Japanese gangsters. When the wallflowerish Chieko (Narimi Arimori) catches his eye, Ishimatsu's idea of seduction is violently raping her. His explosive acts of violence eventually land him in jail, where he befriends Kôzô Imamura (Ryôsuke Miki), a fellow gangster from another yakuza clan who swears brotherhood to Ishimatsu. After serving his sentence, Ishimatsu returns to the outside world, where he is greeted by his gang, Imamura and even Chieko, who has fallen in love with her attacker. But when a minor misunderstanding sets off Ishimatsu's irrational temper, he reacts by trying to kill the leader of the Sadawa clan. This sets into motion one act of violence after another, while at the same time Ishimatsu succumbs to the temptation of heroin, making him even more unpredictable and volatile. Soon, Cheiko is also strung out, and the two lovers continue a downward spiral into the hellish oblivion that waits just on the other side of deadly shootouts.
