Jersey is a popular gambler in Mongkok. One day, he takes a trip to Japan with her girlfriend, Nancy, they come to Chinese resaurant. Suddenly, a gang of Japanese triads comes in and starts a fight. Just at the moment when he is in danger, the restaurant owner uses a special card - casting skill to save him. Jersey recognize it is the skill of Cool, the Gambling King, but the owner refuses to admit that Cool is still alive. Cool finally admit his true identity and tells Jersey that Ho Yan was orginally his girlfriend but now she is the wife of Yeung. Cool treated Yeung like his brother, but he is jealous of Cool's beautiful grilfriend and wealth. Yeung conspired to take away Cool's everthing. With Jersey's help, Cool decides to get Ho Yan back, but he does not realizes that Yeung is setting another trap for him. 

When a Japanese housewife has an affair while her husband is hard at work providing for the family the phrase goes 'heijitsu hirugao tsuma.' When a Japanese woman sleeps with a married teacher she is shunned and shamed and has to change her name and residence. yet, that is not their end. There is more to come.

Chie was separated from his mother 2 months after birth and then lived with the Hasegawa family. Chie lived there for 10 months and then was sent to the dog training school. Tsuyoshi tries to train Chie as a guide dog, but it does not work well. Tsuyoshi then talks to Miwa (Risa Kondo), the 10-year-old daughter of the Hasegawa family. Miwa is especially close to Chie and tells Tsuyoshi the only thing she did with Chie was love the dog. One day, in front of Tsuyoshi and Chie, a rock singer named Makoto appears. Makoto has become blind from a accident. Since losing her sight, Makoto has closed her mind to the world. Now, Tsuyoshi and Chie try to to open her mind, but an accident happens to Chie ...

This film revolves around the life of Choi Shi Hyong, head of the religious sect, Chondogyo, in the later part of the Chosun Kingdom. He is constantly sought and harassed by the authorities. He is separated from his family and goes to hide in a hermitage in the Taeback Mountains. With the belief that his wife is dead, Choi burns the tablet dedicated to her and flees to an even more remote region of the mountains.
