The story follows a young man who has been single for a year after his boyfriend suddenly disappeared without a formal breakup. Five years ago a Western virus swept the Central Plains, transforming people into bloodthirsty monsters. They were called "blood demon." Everyone knows that Ouyang Chun used his ancestral divine sword to kill the source of the virus, the "Demon Ancestor", but unbeknownst to him, his lover, Yue Qingyin's sister Peiru, became infected and a powerful new "Demon Ancestor". Ouyang Chun confessed that he had indeed killed many undeserving people to keep Peiru alive, but he had found a way to transform Peiru back into an adult and would turn himself in as soon as he had done so.

A teenager Joy, begins working as a household maid at a rich family's house. Everyone likes Joy, even the young child of the household, however something isn't right about the house. There is a ghost haunting the house, and only the little girl and Joy can see her.

Wataguchi Jun is a young man living in a port town. He doesn't attend school and hangs around a group of thugs. His parents run a business to transport landfill by ship. Their business is not doing well. Wataguchi Jun doesn't have interest in his parents' business and he doesn't speak to his parents very much. One day, a person, who hangs out with Wataguchi Jun, gets attacked by someone. An unexpected person is accused as being the attacker.

Woo-Gon (Kim Kang-Woo) works for a talent agency as a manager. He spots Mi-Jin (Ko Won-Hee) at an audition. Woo-Gon feels that Mi-Jin is special and has the potential to become a star. Because of Woo-Gon's efforts, Mi-Jin is cast in a movie, but this also causes his company to lash out at him for pushing Mi-Jin instead another one of their talents. Woo-Gon is fired. Later, Mi-Jin comes to visit Woo-Gon who is now working as a parking attendant. Mi-Jin asks him to work as his manager. Woo-Gon accepts and works hard to land parts for her. Soon, Mi-Jin is cast as the lead female character in a television drama series. Just as things seem incredibly promising for Mi-Jin, a shady tabloid scandal breaks out. Mi-Jin is identified as the woman involved in a sexual relationship with a well known politician (Ahn Sung-Ki). The source of the leaks are completely unknown. Woo-Gon tries to explain that the tabloid rumors about his client are completely untrue, but nobody listens. A few days later, Mi-Jin is found dead in her apartment. Woo-Gon then decides to find those responsible for spreading the false rumors about Mi-Jin.

After an international auto theft sting, a dimwitted detective Do Chul is treated at a nightclub where he meets Tae Oh, the tyrannical heir to an untouchable mega-corporation, whose rude behavior rubs Do Chul the wrong way.

One day, a truck driver that helped Do Chul with a case gets beaten and humiliated by Tae Oh in front of his 9-year-old son in a protest to get his overdue wages. The son finds Do Chul’s business card and calls for help due to the father’s near-death coma in the hospital. Knowing that Tae-oh will do whatever it takes to sabotage the people in his way, Do Chul decides to deliver the spoiled heir with some hard heavy blows of Justice!

Joo Sung wants to be a fabulous action movie star like Jakie Chan, even though he is just an ordinary college student. One day Joosung meets a nerd, Chanyeol in the filmmaking class and they decide to making a film as a project. They found a threatening letter to prof Cha by chance during their project. "I know you are involved in the admission fraud. To keep this fact out of the press, put a bag of 30 million won in cash in the trash bin at the university waste disposal until tomorrow…" After reading this letter, Joosung decide to use this letter story to making his film. And all things getting massed up because of his plan.

A yakuza, at his life's end, starts to exterminate chihuahuas, convinced that the poor animals have fomented the destruction of his fellow human beings. His paranoiac crises multiply, he becomes a threat for his Organization. His boss orders his execution and charges his most faithful friend to take care of the dirty job. Thus begins a strange voyage outside of the city. Freud himself would have given up deciphering Gozu, a narrative crossbreed of a badly regulated Oedipal complex, self-contained homosexuality, dislike for women and particularly for parturition. The most notable scene of the film is when the yakuza, who is mysteriously changed into a superb woman, gives birth to himself, before his horrified friend who has just lost his virginity to the creature! Lars Von Trier has met his match: this horrific climax by far exceeds the traumatizing childbirth of The Kingdom. This would probably make the most sensitive of us faint, if the laughter, contagious, wasn't taking over all these horrors. Miike subtitled his picture "yakuzas horror movie" and admittedly he doesn't deceive! While it can certainly be categorized as a cult cinema, Gozu does not, however, look like an arty do-it-yourself work. Visually elaborate, the film brings us to the furthermost bounds of the fantastic and horror. Out of the city, the ghosts invest the fiction and impulses break out until paroxysm. Thus, the homoerotic relation linking the two protagonists generates a beautiful killer with a thirst for revenge. The death of the lustful Godfather, a specialist in the diversion of kitchen accessories for shameful purposes, is another great moment of the picture.
