On Sado Island, Kii works as a cleaner at a gold mine. One day, she finds a collapsed woman in the facility and takes the woman to her home. The woman doesn't remember her past or even her name. The woman is named Midori by the two other girls living with Kii. Kii gets permission from the director for Midori to work as a cleaner at the mine. One day, Midori is attracted by the presence of cats and this leads her to meet Ao, who works as a night guard at the gold mine. Ao tells her that he also doesn't remember his past. Midori and Ao get attracted to each other and spend time together. One day, Midori meets Murasaki who seems to have a close relationship with Ao. This disturbs Midori.

Su-an, a performing arts high school student, becomes close with Seol, an actress and celebrity. During a trip, they realize that they have feelings for each other. However, misunderstandings pile up too much, and Seol leaves Su-an. Su-an later becomes an actress and returns to the winter sea, longing for Seol.

Inspector Eddie Chan of the Organised Crime and Triad Bureau, who suffers from emotional stress after shooting several men in self-defense, is assigned to track down the kidnapped businessman Wong Yat-fei. A story about the emotional entanglements between Huang Yao Shi of Peach Blossom Island and his disciple Mei Chao Feng.

A young girl from the street was adopted by Huang Yao Shi as an apprentice and given the name Mei Chao Feng. She grows up studying martial arts with her senior brothers. Upon discovering that Mei Chao Feng’s feelings for him exceed that of master and disciple, Huang Yao Shi makes an excuse to leave the island. An honest scholarly meets Nie Xiaoqian, a woman who is possessed by a fox spirit, yet the two fall madly in love with each other despite the obstacles in their way. In an attempt to win back the public's interest, has-been Hong Kong film star Lau Wai-chi makes a comeback film with a major director. To prepare for his role as a peasant farmer in the 1960s, he travels to the mainland China countryside to experience rural life there, but his arrogance triggers a series of farces.

North Korea's 8th Special Forces hijacks a shipment of CTX, a potent new liquid explosive, and threatens South Korea as part of a plot to re-unify the two countries.Ryu and Lee, special agents of O.P., South Korea's secret intelligence service, attempt to track down the terrorists and find the CTX. Meanwhile Hee, the 8th's ultra-bad female sniper, resurfaces to wreak havoc and haunt Ryu.

Shiro has died temporarily but is told by a mysterious person called "Kanrinin" that he can do a "homestay" i.e. his soul to reside in another dead person's body so as to find the reason for the latter's death. However, Shiro has to do this within 100 days or else his true form will be exposed and he will die for real. As such, Shiro enters the body of another dead high school student Kobayashi Shin and tries to investigate his death with Shin's childhood friend Fujieda Akira and his senior Takasaka Mizuki who Shin was in love with.
