On a pretty, placid little island in the Japanese countryside, Nishikita teaches physical education at the high school he himself attended. The man is hardly an agent of change. He knows his place in the order of things and is careful not to rock the boat, perhaps even a little too much. When he receives a call from a former classmate Takagi, announcing her return, a flash of emotion strikes him. Takagi was Nishikita's best friend and unrequited first love, who had suddenly moved to Paris 10 years earlier to study. At the time, Takagi was constantly teasing him to shake him out of his torpor, and he notices that her attitude hasn't changed in the slightest when they are reunited. In fact, while in France she has only improved in the art of the retort, and Nishikita is still as bad at it as ever. He'll have to get used to it, though, as the new teacher he'll have to train is none other than the beautiful Takagi.

A mysterious woman teams up with a man whose daughter was killed and who is now seeking revenge. Together they kidnap members of an organization and torture them to find out what really happened.

Two old college pals, Asai and Jiyong, make their annual pilgrimage up a mountain in the middle of winter in honor of their friend Sayuri who disappeared there 16 years earlier. However, Jiyong seriously injures his leg in the middle of a violent blizzard. Overcome by cold and pain, he asks Asai to let him die here and save his own life. First, though, he confesses to a horrible secret that has been eating away at him. He was the one who killed Sayuri that fateful day, out of jealousy. Once inside, the murderer's confession takes on a whole new dimension, and let's just say that the elephant in the room is more of a mammoth. "Come, Closer" covers the broken relationships of five different couples. Su Jin works in a coffee shop. On a slow evening, with no customers in the cafe, she receives a phone call from a Polish guy in Holland looking for his ex-girlfriend. Su Jin tells him she has time to listen. Hye Young is the singer for an up and coming indie band, while Ju Young is the guitarist. People often mistake the two for boyfriend and girlfriend. Young Soo brings over a girl named Se Yun after a night of drinking. The girl admires the erotic comics that he draws. She asks him about the rumor that he is gay. Young Soo replies if there's rumors then it must be true. They then kiss. Hyun Oh drives his car out of a parking lot on a rainy evening. Out of nowhere, his ex-girlfriend Eun Hee stands in front of his car. She then gets in his car. Young Soo lays on the couch on his apartment in turmoil. His boyfriend Woon Chul finally comes home after a night drinking with friends. Young Soo tells him that he is leaving him for a girl...

Set in a beautifully recreated 1930's Shanghai, Junchu has fallen into a profound state of depression after witnessing his girlfriend's tragic death on the day he was set to propose. Unable to forget Manli, and living in a tortured state of denial and guilt, Junchun's domineering mother decides to marry him off to Sansan, a beautiful young woman who she believes will lift her son's spirits. The marriage starts off loveless and unconsummated, but Sansan is determined to win his love. One day the ghost of Manli, still pining for her former lover appears to Sansan. The two quickly strike a deal; Manli will help the new bride, but only if she can temporarily enter Sansan's body so that she can reconnect physically with her former lover one last time. The plan goes too well and as Junchu begins to fall in love with Sansan, Manli turns from friendly and helpful to jealous and vengeful.

The film consists of five story units: "Concert on the Clouds", "The Enemy and Enmity of the Square", "Welcome to Jina Village", "Calm Down", and "Sunset Red Scout". It tells the struggle of ordinary characters in the new era to pursue a better life. The story shows the country’s development and progress, people’s livelihood changes, and the people’s sense of gain, happiness, and security.

Late one night at a high school chapel, four students make a pact to kill themselves that night. The girls sign the pact with their own blood and pledge that if anybody survives they will be haunted for the rest of their lives. Then only one of the four students, Eon Ju, actually commits suicide by jumping to her death.

The next day, rumours fly around their school on the reasons why Eon Ju killed herself. The remaining three girls keep to themselves as they are haunted by their pledge and soon enough the school becomes covered in blood.

Da-Jin (Kim Ha-Neul) and Jae-Young (Yoon Kye-Sang) have been in an all too comfortable relationship for the past six years. Although they don't live together, their apartments reside side by side. Da-Jin works as an editor at publishing company and Jae-Young works as a producer for a home shopping network. Trouble brews for the couple when Da-jin recruits illustrator Jin-Seong (Shin Sung-Rok) for her next project. During the process, Jin-Seong begins to take an interest in Da-Jin romantically. Meanwhile, Jae-Young meets a young part-time worker in the elevator at the television station. The young woman already knows his name and seems to want to know more. Can Da-Jin and Jae-Young's relationship survive these outside temptations?
