Pagalavan, Kesavan and Sekar are three friends, who lose their jobs due to certain circumstances. Then they come across Das (Vijay Sethupathi), who runs a smart kidnap for ransom scam. The movie is based on a true story retold in a Japanese novel by Ryohei Akimoto and Kengo Ishiguro.
