Hana is a high school student. Her parents suddenly died in an accident. Since then, Hana doesn't have any hope to live. One day, a man introduces himself to Hana as an agent from a special government agency. He asks Hana to talk about a dream she. She is confused by what he talked about. On that night, Hana has a strange dream.

Kyoji Narita is a high ranking yakuza member. On a rainy day, he wanders on the street. He hears a singing sound and he walks towards the sound. There, he meets junior high school student Satomi Oka and he invites him to go to a karaoke place to teach him to sing. Kyoji Narita badly wants to improve his singing so he won't place last in his gang's karaoke competition. Meanwhile, Satomi Oka is a 3rd grade junior high school students and leads the school choral club. Satomi Oka has a sincere personality, but he often makes biting remarks. He has one problem, which is that he has difficulties with high-pitched notes due to his voice going through puberty. Satomi Oka is embarrassed by the unexpected request from Kyoji Narita.

A fractured family of four brothers and one sister confront haunting memories of their mother’s passing fifteen years ago. Fifteen years had passed, as Nicole (Summer Chan) returns home to Hong Kong to be reunited with her three brothers, clinging to the shattered memory from the night of her mother’s passing. Through hypnosis sessions with her big brother Joseph (Simon Yam), the trauma that the family sustained is unexpectedly reawakened when she desires to connect back with the memories. Then, the whole world around this family takes on a dark form and love becomes almost undefinable.

Suffering from double vision, a single mother (Cocco) tries to take care of her baby in the grip of terrifying hallucinations. Experiencing a nervous breakdown, she is deemed unfit to take care of her child and has it taken away from her. The only respite the mother has from her visions is when she sings. He also boasts that he is the offspring of Kamehameha I (the first King of Hawaii) and a distant relative of Queen Elizabeth of England. In actuality, the man is a marriage swindler looking for his next big score. Shinobu Nagano (Yasuko Matsuyuki) is a bento box shop owner who falls for the smooth talking Col. Kuhio. Kuhio has already proposed to Shinobu, which she has accepted. Kuhio has promised Shinobu that her wedding dress will be designed by the same designer as Princess Diana when she married. As they prepare for their wedding, Col. Kuhio approaches new target Haru Yasuoka (Hikari Mitsushima). Haru Yasuoka works in a museum of natural history. Col. Kuhio approaches the woman one day and strikes up a conversation. Kuhio notes that Haru's job requires her to give tours to little kids and he doesn't think she likes kids. Their conversation leaves Haru confused, but Kuhio does have her attention. Meanwhile, Michiko Sado (Yuko Nakamura) is the #1 hostess of Ginza and she is perhaps the only one able to give Col Kuhio a run for his money ...

Bodhidharma was born in India sometime in the fifth or sixth century as the third son of a king. When his father died, he leaves home and practises Buddhism under the tutelage of the master Prajnatara. Many decades later, he travels to China to spread Zen Buddhism and search for a successor. In China, Bodhidharma meets Emperor Wu of the Liang dynasty and tells him he has not accumulated any merit even though the emperor has made many financial contributions to the Buddhist community. The emperor is displeased by Bodhidharma's comment. The locals are also not very friendly towards Bodhidharma, but he surprises them on one occasion when he saves a girl from drowning, and crosses a river by using qinggong and with the aid of a reed. Bodhidharma eventually arrives at Shaolin Monastery and settles down in a cave in the backhill. He faces the wall and enters a state of meditation for nine years. He did not move at all throughout those years and many people came to look at him when they heard about it. Shenguang is a former soldier who has given up violence and become a Buddhist monk to seek peace and redemption. After experiencing strange visions, he makes his way to Shaolin and kneels outside the cave under heavy snowfall. By then, Bodhidharma has awakened from his meditation and he accepts Shenguang as his apprentice after Shenguang cuts off his left arm to show his sincerity. Bodhidharma renames Shenguang to "Huike". Bodhidharma fends off a group of thugs trying to rob the Shaolin monks and miraculously survives after being set on fire. The robbers retreat in shame when they realise they cannot harm this holy man. After witnessing the Shaolin monks' inability to protect themselves, Bodhidharma teaches them martial arts, which later evolved into Shaolin Kung Fu. In his old age, he wishes to return to India so he gathers his students and tests their understanding of his teachings. He eventually chooses Huike to be his successor.
