A woman seeks revenge on the man pretending to fall in love with her to gain professional advantage.

The story is narrated by Lin Yi (Lin Gengxin, “Young Detective Dee: Rise of the Sea Dragon”), who, at the pic’s start in 2013, appears to be living every Chinese person’s American dream as a New York IT exec. When he receives the wedding invitation of his old flame Xiaozhi (Zhou Dongyu), he returns to Beijing for the first time in 10 years. Back at primary school in 1993, transfer student Xiaozhi (Zhang Zifeng, a dead ringer for Zhou), is assigned to sit next to Lin (Li Jiacheng, cheeky), initiating a meet-cute sweet enough to rot your teeth. Depicting the aftermath of " Kamen Rider Zero One REAL x TIME the Movie ", the four members of Mestuboujinrai; Horibi, Jin, Raiden and Naki, are on the path of coexisting with humankind. Together, Jin and Horobi continue to work so that malice cannot occur in the world, whilst Raiden works as an astronaut at the Space Business Center of Hiden Intelligence and Naki works as a technical advisor to the artificial intelligence special agency "AIMS" to crack down on AI crimes.

However, a man appears before Jin, announcing, "I have come to collect you" which causes Jin to become uneasy. Whilst the four are all together, Horobi states "This is a holy war", whilst raising his sword. Is Horobi turning his back on humankind after all?
