In the early days of the Republic, legendary martial artist Ye Ruzhou suffers a severe injury, losing her memory and winding up in the impoverished alley of Minfu Lane. By a twist of fate, she crosses paths with the carefree Chen Awang, and the two fall for each other. When local tyrant Zheng Juehou intensifies his hold over the neighborhood, Ye Ruzhou rises to defend her new community. Two young guys work in a plant that manufactures oshibori (those moist hand-towels found in some Japanese restaurants). Their weird bond is based on uncontrollable rage--something neither can articulate or control--and the strange jellyfish that they keep as a pet.

To get a critical clue on catching a notorious murderer, Detective Han Soo covers up another murder. Rival detective Min Tae senses the coverup and he chases Han Soo.

After losing his job at a scrap metal yard, Kyu Nam finds a new job at a small pawn shop named Utopia. He is immediately drawn to the family atmosphere at Utopia, working with his new boss Jung Sik and boss's daughter Young Sook. Unfortunately for Kyu Nam, his moment of happiness will only be fleeting.

Cho In lived through a brutal childhood. He has had to use a prosthetic leg since an early age, grew up with an abusive father and lived with a mother who at one point attempted to kill her own son out of despair. Not expecting much resistance, Cho In is surprised to find one man at the Utopia pawn shop is able to break free from his mind control abilities. That man is Kyu Nam. Cho In then resorts to killing the owner of pawn shop to make his escape. All of this is captured on CCTV.

An epic battle will soon occur between these two people with supernatural abilities and nothing to lose.

On his request, the sensitive sister of a real estate agent visits a house he intends to put on sell, only to cross paths with its resident curse.

Masaya is a university student, but he attends a school that's not his ideal school. His days are generally gloomy. One day, he receives a letter from serial killer Haimura. He was convicted for nine murders and received the death penalty. Back when Haimura was committing his murders, he ran a bakery store. At that time, Masaya was a middle-school student and a customer at his bakery store. According to the letter, Haimura confesses to having committed eight murders, but he insists that he did not commit the last murder. Masaya begins to investigate the last murder case involving Haimura.
