After getting dumped by his girlfriend, Hyuk Jin (Song Sam Dong, Go Go 70s) meets up with his buddies to drink his sorrows away. Drunk and hopeless, Hyuk Jin reluctantly agrees to join his friends for a trip to Gangwon province. But the next day, his friends are all no shows so Hyuk Jin hits the road on his own, nursing a broken heart and massive hangover. His trip turns into an unexpected adventure of mishap and misunderstandings with many detours for soju. A big hit on the festival circuit, the hilarious Korean indie Daytime Drinking revolves around man's favorite pastime, drinking. Do-all rookie filmmaker Noh Young Seok wrote, produced, edited, and directed this delightful film about a broken-hearted young man on a wacky road trip. Full of eccentric energy and empathetic insight, Daytime Drinking appeals to both mainstream and arthouse audiences with its spirited narrative and unexpected characters - all served with a hearty shot of soju on the side.

The strangest thing above all is, when the police starts investigate, it happens that Asa does not have a twin sister......
