With Kie and her family facing many tragedies in life, she turns to the spiritual and goes to pray at a shrine. A priest there tells her that her family is facing karma caused by her gangster ancestor. After Kie decides to perform a ritual, she finds herself back in time in the body of a man who had been killed. She meets all the gang members including her own great grandfather, Khung. While getting to know him, Kie attempts to prevent Khung from performing the action that would lead to her family's misfortune.

Lung Ka Chun is a business tycoon in charge of the Lung's Enterprise who is forced into marriage by his mother. Cheng Ye plays one of Zhao Benshan's subordinates, whose successes are lacking and whose failures are abundant and who is often burdening Zhao Benshan. The other roles all revolve around Xiao Shen Yang. Kelly Lin plays an ordinary martial who thinks she's a princess and likes Xiao Shen Yang. Eric Tsang is a blind, but an expert fencer who is in charge of protecting the princess. Chen Zhipeng is the rightful emperor, as well as Kelly Lin's character's fiancee and Xiao Shen Yang's character's rival-in-love. Xiao Xiao Bin acts out little Xiao Shen Yang, and Jacky Wu is an exceptional expert who lives at the bottom of a valley.

Hanako Haibara was born and raised in the city of Tokyo. After she gets dumped by her boyfriend, while in her late 20's, she goes on blind dates to find a man to marry.

Miki Tokioka was born in a province. She studied very hard and entered a prestigious university in Tokyo. She experienced difficult financial times, but she now works at an IT company.

Due to a man, Hanako Haibara and Miki Tokioka meet each other.
