The alien invader Goa plots to conquer the Earth. He first warns the Murakami family (father Atsushi, mother Tomoko, and son Mamoru) of their invasion, and demonstrates his powers by transporting them to a prehistoric jungle and destroying a Giant Dinosaur (in reality, Agon, the title monster of a Godzilla-like TV series) before their very eyes. But they will not agree to surrender to Goa, so hope comes in the form of Magma, an armored, golden giant with long hair and antennae. He and his human-sized wife Mol, both created by the wizard Earth (who indeed lives deep beneath the Earth), are sent to defend our world against Goa. They befriend Atsushi and Mamoru; the latter has touched Magma emotionally, as he wanted to have a child with his wife Mol, so Earth creates a duplicate of Mamoru, named Gam (who wears a helmet with antennas). Earth gives Mamoru a whistle, with which he can call Gam (when blown once), Mol (when blown twice) and Magma (when blown thrice) in times of crisis. So when Goa unleashes his various daikaiju, chances are, Magma, Mol, and Gam will fly to the rescue.

Man King-Leung (Michael Tse) and Hilda Hoi Kiu (Sheren Tang) - shows their quest to power and fame, their readiness to sacrifice anything - even their loved ones - for the sake of climbing the corporate ladder. However, throughout the show, their characters began to make the realization that love and family are actually much more significant in life than success in the business world. Ko Chi-Lik (Kenneth Ma) and Ida Hoi Suen (Kate Tsui) - focuses on the status of the woman in modern society. Raised in a patriarchal environment, Lik, who has very old-fashioned thinking, believes that women cannot become sushi chefs. He believes that a woman should be staying at home, cooking, serving their husbands and caring for the children. Ida on the other hand, is a very strong-willed modern Chinese woman. Through her determination, confidence and persistence, she proves her skills to him. Their frequent conflict and arguments over the rights and roles of women and Lik's eventual realization that women can indeed accomplish greater accomplishments than men show the gradual progression of value changes.

    Country:
    Hong Kong
My Date with a Vampire II is a 1999 Hong Kong television series produced by ATV as a sequel to My Date with a Vampire (1998), but with a completely new story. It was followed by My Date with a Vampire III in 2004. The series starred many cast members from the first season. Like the first season, My Date with a Vampire II also blends aspects of the jiangshi (Chinese "hopping" vampire) with those of western vampires, while injecting elements of Chinese mythology and modern horror legends, but in this season, there is an additional touch of eschatology The story in the second season is a reboot of the first season but the main characters' names and roles are still similar to those in the first season. Some new characters and new subplots are also introduced in this season. At the end of My Date with a Vampire, the buddha Vairocana grants Fong Kwok-wah (Fong Tin-yau) his wish to travel back in time and be a vampire no more. In My Date with a Vampire II, Fong Kwok-wah and Yamamoto Ichifu clash again in 1938 and their fight arouses the attention of Cheung San (the progenitor of all vampires), who interrupts the fight. Just as Cheung San is about to bite the two men and turn them into vampires, Ma Dan-na appears and attacks Cheung San, driving him away, thus sparing Fong and Yamamoto from their fates. Not long later, Fong agrees to help Ma hunt down and destroy Cheung San. They succeed in trapping Cheung San but he breaks free and bites Fong and the boy Fuk-sang (who is nearby), transforming them into vampires. Fong Kwok-wah and Fuk-sang survive until the present-day (1990s) and their physical appearances have not changed since 60 years ago. However, before Fong became a vampire, he already had a son with his wife Sau, so he now has a grandson named Fong Tin-yau. Fong Tin-yau is killed in an incident in England so Fong Kwok-wah impersonates his grandson. He meets Ma Siu-ling (a descendant of Ma Dan-na), the heiress to a clan of ghostbusters who have dedicated themselves to ridding the world of evil supernatural beings. Fong starts a romance with Ma. Nüwa, the goddess who created mankind according to Chinese mythology, has become very disappointed and heartbroken after seeing how her creations have become corrupted by evil, and she intends to end the world on 2nd. January 2001. Cheung San has existed long before the world came into existence, and he has a crush on Nüwa. Fong Tin-yau, Ma Siu-ling, and their friends plan to stop Nüwa from ending the world. However, they will come into conflict with not only the goddess herself, but also Cheung San and his followers.
