The 'Universe League', which will create a boy group, will be held in a completely different format from Season 1. During the summer in the present day, Jeon Youn Ha runs a vacation cottage located deep in the woods. His peaceful life is shaken by the sudden appearance of a mysterious woman named Yoo Sung A.

In the early 2000's, Koo Sang Joon ran the same vocation cottage as Jeon Young Ha did years later. Koo Sang Joon and his family also lived there, but, during the summer, something happened at his vacation cottage and Koo Sang Joon lost everything because of that. At that time, Yoon Bo Min worked as a police officer at the nearest police substation from the vacation cottage. 20 years later, Yoon Bo Min is transferred to the same police substation where she worked before and she begins to work there as the chief. She enjoys solving things and begins to observe Jeon Young Ha closely.

Chow Ming Hin (Damian Lau) single-handedly builds his family shipping business into a successful enterprise despite other family members who are either corrupt or incompetent. His son Chow Tin Chi (Julian Cheung) is earmarked as his successor, he is a spoiled brat who enjoys playing pranks on others, in particular Ho Seung Hei (Charmaine Sheh). Ng Yuk Hing (Angie Chiu) is both Chow Ming Hin's right-hand-man in business and love of his life, even though he is married. Hachiro is a former boxer, now working as a debt collector for a finance company. He is sent to collect money from Kazuma, a former trainee doctor who has fallen on hard times ever since the suicide of his girlfriend. Hachiro pursues Kazuma into a bank, where Kazuma convinces the staff that the debt collector is, in fact, an armed robber. Although he is falsely arrested, Hachiro develops a liking for the roguish renegade and even offers to help him evade other debt collectors.

The drama mainly tells the story of Gu Nuan, an illegitimate daughter of the Gu family, who found out that her boyfriend had cheated on her sister Gu Ling. Her mother was pushed down the stairs by Gu's father and wanted to murder, so she vowed to take back everything that belonged to her. Zhen appears and wants to contract with Gu Nuan to marry. It seems that Gu Nuan wants to take revenge, but Wen Ren Zhen actually hides a secret.
