Yano Katsuhiko, a weather forecaster who is divorced and is introduced by his friend, Taguchi to popular radio DJ Yukawa Sachi aka "Love Specialist". Yano recalled seeing pictures of her before but the person he actually saw is Sachi's friend, Yujin.

Huang Cai Wei was engaged to Bai Qian Feng when he went missing on a business trip and presumed dead. She was then forced to marry his brother Bai Qian Sheng. His obvious favoritism of her incited jealousy in his other wives, especially his primary wife Ma Fu Fang. Huang managed to outmaneuver many of the women's ploy using her wits. She works with Dong Ki Joon. He is Sa Ra’s business partner and an advisory lawyer at Solution. Before coming to Solution, he was an excellent prosecutor who had the nickname of "German Shepherd." He picked up the nickname because of his persistence and keen intuition, but Ki Joon left the prosecutors' office for an unknown reason. Sa Ra and Ki Joon work together for people who are suffering through difficult divorces.

Lui Fei-hap (Niki Chow), known as "Lui Hap", is a thirty-one year oldEmergency Unit sergeant of the Hong Kong Police Force, who has been let down in love many times; so when she finds her perfect man (Vincent Wong) she jumps at the opportunity, never suspecting that he is a drug baron (Vincent Wong) until she arrests him. To make things worse their relationship hits the headlines when tabloid reporter Gordon Lam (Michael Tse), known as A1, stumbles upon it while following another story. Lui Hap's and A1's paths continue to cross when pursuing duties and stories, sometimes co-operating and sometimes as enemies, sometimes saving the other and at other times the target of each others practical jokes. A mother goose to her section, Lui Hap comes into conflict with her new commanding officer Madam Kiu (Mandy Wong), nicknamed by her subordinates as Madam Kill, when Kiu demands perfection of her section. Before long Lui Hap finds herself falling in love with new recruit Wong Tze-tsuen (Matthew Ko), only for A1 to stand in her way again. It turns out that it is her father, Boy Sir (Benz Hui), who is the mastermind of this and that A1 is his accomplice. Pushed to her limits both at work and in love, Lui Hap has no choice but to fight back in the name of love.

The story follows Wang Ke Ke and Li Xiao Jun as the two prepare to get married. They bought a house together. But on the day of their wedding, Ke Ke discovers that for some reason, her name is NOT on the house lease. Despite Xiao Jun’s explanation, she flees the scene, leaving his family in shock. His mother asks a friend to pose as the bride but her son is adamant on marrying one woman only and cancels the wedding. The two rekindle soon after but Xiao Jun’s mom pressures for them to have kids. To prove that she’s not just a housewife material, our heroine seeks for a better job, which is when she meets Xiao Jun’s big boss and becomes his assistant. Lol. Mixing in personal misunderstandings and work conflicts, the two lovebirds are often at odd.

The series revolved around a lawyer Francis Siu Wai Mo (Carol/Do Do Cheng Yu Ling) and her paralegal advisor Yu Lok Tin (Dayo Wong). Between avoiding the "spinster" label and creatively fighting trivial law suits, Frances uses her wit and class to outsmart her main rival, lawyer Alex Pao. In addition, Francis also has personal problems to deal with in the homefront such as getting used to her new younger stepmother.

The story begins with the Goddess Nuwa subduing and imprisoning an evil Centipede spirit. The Chalice fairy tasked to guard the centipede spirit however, was careless, the centipede spirit escaped. As punishment, the Chalice spirit was banished to the mortal realm where she will have to grant three wishes to any mortal who puts water into her chalice for a thousand times.
