The 'Universe League', which will create a boy group, will be held in a completely different format from Season 1. It is a league-style audition where the final winning team that wins the Prism Cup debuts. Three representative K-pop artists will become the managers of each club. They select team members through a trainee draft and compete against each other. This was combined with the sports element of combining the best members of each club through a trade of exchanging trainees. Through this, 'Universe League' is expected to be a differentiated audition that shows more dynamic competition.

During the summer in the present day, Jeon Youn Ha runs a vacation cottage located deep in the woods. His peaceful life is shaken by the sudden appearance of a mysterious woman named Yoo Sung A.

In the early 2000's, Koo Sang Joon ran the same vocation cottage as Jeon Young Ha did years later. Koo Sang Joon and his family also lived there, but, during the summer, something happened at his vacation cottage and Koo Sang Joon lost everything because of that. At that time, Yoon Bo Min worked as a police officer at the nearest police substation from the vacation cottage. 20 years later, Yoon Bo Min is transferred to the same police substation where she worked before and she begins to work there as the chief. She enjoys solving things and begins to observe Jeon Young Ha closely.

Zhang Neng Liang is a fuerdai (second generation rich) who fails the university entrance exams and joins the People’s Liberation Army as a member of the tank crew. Squad leader Niu Nul Li comes from a rural village, and missed out on a place in the military academy twice due to Zhang Neng Liang. Ritdha High School, the school that not only has gifted students but also the "Gifted Program," a gifted class with only a handful of "special" students were chosen to study in this program. The show focuses on a man named Kenji and his younger sister Yasuko, whose parents died in an accident 10 years earlier. Kenji was once the leader of a gang, but in order to support him and his sister, he began making a living as a shojo mangaka. His character normally wears glasses and appears to be a gentle guy, but he throws off his glasses and reverts to his violent side whenever he tries to protect Yasuko from danger. Part of the story follows Yasuko's romance with an intelligent and good-looking man named Jun Tsubaki. Jun's older sister Erika now runs a flower shop, but Erika was once a leader of a female gang, and she used to be in love with Kenji during those days.

Pang is an ordinary girl who fights for justice, kind-hearted, and fights the obstacles that life brings her. Pang has an older brother that she loves dearly, but was separated since she was a child. It's been over a decade since Pang's older brother disappeared from her life. She has prayed throughout the years that she will be able to see him again. On the other hand, Phu is a stern and serious person with a career, family, status but with just one exception; no memory of his childhood. One day, Pang meets Phu at a company she starts working at thinking that her co-worker is a good and warm-hearted person. She confesses to him that her first impression of him was that she thought he was her older brother, but puts it aside. In the end, she discovers that he's her older brother. What will happen to these siblings?

Honjo Hidehisa (Nakai Kiichi), a successful lawyer in his 50s, is found to have an early onset of Alzheimer’s. He forgets memories which he ought to remember and constantly recalls those that he wants to forget. One incident he wishes to forget is the death of his son in a car accident. The culprit still has not been caught. Honjo has not faced up to the past until now. He has only thought of work and neglected his new family. But as he gradually begins to lose his memories, he devotes his remaining life to exposing his past and taking on his final case.

Witness to a Prosecution is a Hong Kong television series produced by TVB. The original broadcast was on the TVB Jade network with 45-minute episodes airing five days a week from 20 December 1999 to 16 January 2000. The drama stars Bobby Au-yeung as the famous historical forensic medical expert Song Ci. Set during the Southern Song Dynasty of Mid-Imperial China, Witness to a Prosecution tells a fictionalised account of Chee's modest beginnings and the events leading to the creation of his book Collected Cases of Injustice Rectified, the world's earliest documentation of forensic science.
