The 'Universe League', which will create a boy group, will be held in a completely different format from Season 1. During the summer in the present day, Jeon Youn Ha runs a vacation cottage located deep in the woods. His peaceful life is shaken by the sudden appearance of a mysterious woman named Yoo Sung A.

In the early 2000's, Koo Sang Joon ran the same vocation cottage as Jeon Young Ha did years later. Koo Sang Joon and his family also lived there, but, during the summer, something happened at his vacation cottage and Koo Sang Joon lost everything because of that. At that time, Yoon Bo Min worked as a police officer at the nearest police substation from the vacation cottage. 20 years later, Yoon Bo Min is transferred to the same police substation where she worked before and she begins to work there as the chief. She enjoys solving things and begins to observe Jeon Young Ha closely.

Sad Sonata is a love story about two men and one woman. The young Joon-young (Kwon Sang Woo), who was raised by his mother who sold liquor to American soldiers, met the blind Hae-in (Kim Hee Sun) and they became childhood sweethearts. Then, Hae-in immigrated to the U.S. following her aunt and her uncle (American soldier that married her aunt). There she met Gun-woo (Yeon Jung Hoon), who was Joon-young's best friend and son of a very rich man. After she received a letter from Hwa-jung saying that Joon-young is dead, she accepted Gun-woo's love. After an operation, Hae-in was able to see again. The story picks up again when composer Joon-young, singer Hae-In, and music producer Gun-woo all meet again.

Yamada Taro, a freshman on a scholarship at Ichinomiya Private Senior High School, is high-achieving, strikingly handsome, and truly athletic and seems perfect. But he is actually extremely poor. This NHK drama tells the story of the Sanada family which rose to prominence in the Sengoku period. Originally serving the Takeda Clan they ruled the Chiisagata District of Northern Shinano, captured Numata Castle in NW Kozuke province, built Ueda Castle, and even defeated an attack by Tokugawa Ieyasu in 1585. Prominent Generals of that time period praised them for their military strength and witty strategies, regarding them as prized Warriors of the age. Many legends state that the family also raised and specially trained their own Ninja to carry out reconnaissance missions. These Ninja were also capable Warriors, believed to possess their own superhuman abilities. Their intelligence network for the Sanada Clan is said to spread across the entire country. Legend also says that Sanada Yukimura had 10 Ninja Heroes who took an active part at the Battles of Osaka Castle. They were called the 'Sanada Ten Braves' (Sanada Juyushi). This NHK Drama begins right after the death of Takeda Shingen and continues through the rise of Tokugawa Ieyasu who founded the Tokugawa Shogunate and covers roughly the period 1582 - 1615.

Bai Shao, Bai Ji, and Bai Su, daughters of a Chinese medicine practitioner named Bai Shou Cheng, are all troubled with relationship problems. Bai Shao and Bai Su don't want to carry on their father's occupation, so they decide to wait until their father remarries, goes to America to start his new life, and then they'll work on their lives. Bai Shao started a fake relationship with Lu Liu An, who is younger than her. Bai Ji's husband is having an affair and decides to divorce her. Bai Su somehow falls in love with a much older man whose profession is also related to the medical field. Within each relationship, there are new problems arising. Seeing his daughters trapped in troubled situations, Bai Shou Cheng decides to stay and delays his trip to America in order to help his daughters achieve happiness.
