King of Mask Singer is a South Korean singing competition program starting Celebrities. Each competition lasts for two episodes, with the singers competing one-on-one in three elimination rounds. They are given elaborate masks to wear in order to conceal their identity, thus removing factors such as popularity, career and age that could lead to prejudiced voting. In the first round, both contestants sing the same song, while in the second and third round they each sing a solo song. Produce 101 is the nation's first agency-collaboration unit girl group project, which brings together 101 trainees from different entertainment companies both inside and outside of South Korea. From the 101 trainees, 11 will be selected to form a unit girl group. The unit group will perform four songs together for a year and release a debut album under the record label of CJ E&M but may later join a girl group that their agencies are planning. Star Gazing was a new talk-show template where celebrities and their fans could interact in person throughout the filming

Set in a small, rural town, the show is about two friends, actors running a supermarket for 10 days. They not only sell goods, but also operate small restaurants, where they cook and serve dishes. The two actors, who lives their whole lives in the city, experience life in the small town and blend into the neighborhood.

The show is the first ever global K-pop idols' news & talk show. The "TMI" in the show's name stands for Thursday Mnet Idol. The show is currently retrieving any possible TMI (Too Much Information) information from the public about the idol groups or their individual members through their online form, and the information that will be used for the show is "news reported" on the show.
