Snagging a new job at Heart Sports' sales department, Kanji transfers to the Tokyo office, where he meets his new colleague Rika and is reunited with his best friends from home—Mikami and Satomi. Mikami, Kanji, and Satomi have been friends since they were children, having grown up in the same small town. Ten years back, Miwa's friend committed suicide because she couldn't stand that Yosuke, the one she loved, got along so well with Miwa instead of her. Arriving home, Natsuki's roommate Haruko announces that her brother Soichirou will be staying with them in their house, after being transferred to Tokyo's newspaper.
