During the summer in the present day, Jeon Youn Ha runs a vacation cottage located deep in the woods. His peaceful life is shaken by the sudden appearance of a mysterious woman named Yoo Sung A.

In the early 2000's, Koo Sang Joon ran the same vocation cottage as Jeon Young Ha did years later. Koo Sang Joon and his family also lived there, but, during the summer, something happened at his vacation cottage and Koo Sang Joon lost everything because of that. At that time, Yoon Bo Min worked as a police officer at the nearest police substation from the vacation cottage. 20 years later, Yoon Bo Min is transferred to the same police substation where she worked before and she begins to work there as the chief. She enjoys solving things and begins to observe Jeon Young Ha closely.

'How to Love Without Losing Myself' despite the problems of career, dating, and friends.

Tin Lik (Myolie Wu) is the daughter of a bandit and she married into the Ling family by coincidence. When she was escaping from guards, she fled to the vehicle that was going to transport the bride. But the real bride had already eloped with another man. Therefore, in order to escape from the guards, Tin Lik had to be the imposer. Tin Lik's mother-in-law, Hei Tap-Lap (Liza Wang), is very barbaric. They always argue with each other and Tin Lik's husband, Ning Mao-Chun (Bosco Wong), always gets caught in the crossfire. He has to please his mother and wife at the same time.

The setting is in Taiwan's 1950s to 1970s (and according to the screen writer, it would end on year 2000). Its story revolves around a certain village where you can find love and friendship. Each family in the village has a story to tell.

Bai Shao, Bai Ji, and Bai Su, daughters of a Chinese medicine practitioner named Bai Shou Cheng, are all troubled with relationship problems. Bai Shao and Bai Su don't want to carry on their father's occupation, so they decide to wait until their father remarries, goes to America to start his new life, and then they'll work on their lives. Bai Shao started a fake relationship with Lu Liu An, who is younger than her. Bai Ji's husband is having an affair and decides to divorce her. Bai Su somehow falls in love with a much older man whose profession is also related to the medical field. Within each relationship, there are new problems arising. Seeing his daughters trapped in troubled situations, Bai Shou Cheng decides to stay and delays his trip to America in order to help his daughters achieve happiness.

A story about the ups and downs of a normal life of five college students.

Michael Miu reprises a new role as a triad boss in E.U., which is unrelated to his role in The Academy.
