Koo Sang Joon and his family also lived there, but, during the summer, something happened at his vacation cottage and Koo Sang Joon lost everything because of that. At that time, Yoon Bo Min worked as a police officer at the nearest police substation from the vacation cottage. 20 years later, Yoon Bo Min is transferred to the same police substation where she worked before and she begins to work there as the chief. She enjoys solving things and begins to observe Jeon Young Ha closely.

The Landlady's room is a Hulu original that will shed some light behind the inner workings of Kyoko, the Landlady of Kougetsuan, and mother to Tsubaki, as she tries to take down Nao.

Kyoko is a woman of the high society and the worst kind of enemy one could ever wish upon their foes. She has spent her life raising her only son, Tsubaki, to be the successor of Kougetsuan. In this original Hulu series, we will learn more about her dark schemes as we enter The Landlady's Room. It may even be possible to make sense of the disturbing hymns she sings and unravel the mystery behind the murder of the Landlord 15 years ago.

Saitip, a psychologist providing counseling for kids and families, comes back home with a degree in Psychology and willingness to work. Korn, son of a school owner, is to inherit the school business from his mom. He has to do everything to make his mom and the teachers accept him. He initiates a project 'Sweet Broken Home' to help five trouble making kids who are about to get dismissed from the school. They all similarly come from broken homes. Korn must succeed in his project, or else the five kids would be dismissed. Saitip is hired as a new counseling teacher to help him solve this problem together.

Kazutoyo lived during the end of the Sengoku period (1546-1605). He was the first feudal lord of the fief of Tosa on the island of Shikoku. He served Nobunaga Oda, Hideyoshi Toyotomi and Tokugawa Ieyasu.

Chiyo (1557-1617) was his wife, and was known in history for her dedication and devotion to her husband (like Matsu was to Toshiie in Toshiie to Matsu). She is the daughter of a samurai who served the feudal lord Asai.

Ko Yi-man Ha Yu is the owner of a pawn shop and a devoted father to his son Ko Wai-ting Evergreen Mak and two daughters Ko Yu-chu Linda Chung and Ko Yu-po Cilla Kung. However unknown to his children one of them is not his biologically but an abandoned child, the symbolic "collateral" in a good luck ritual made many years previously. When the receipt for the tansaction comes to light first speculation about the truth and then the truth itself threatens the destruction of a family that he has given everything for and Ko Yi-man must fight to keep his family together.

Paboo (Margie) is a spoiled/ rebellious woman who never puts any effort into doing her best at anything. Her parents became divorced when she was young. Her father remarried and had another daughter. They sent Paboo off to boarding school so Paboo felt like she was never a part of their new family. After spending 10 years studying abroad, Paboo returned back to Thailand but didn't even finish any of her studies. Her father was very angry. He wished she was more like her younger sister who took her studies seriously and was more responsible. Paboo became angry and ran out of the house. She didn't know where to go so she contacted her mother, who she has lost touched with for a very long time. Her mother felt guilty for abandoning her daughter so she helped Paboo by getting her to stay at her new husband's family hotel suite. Paboo thought it would be easy to find a job, but with her lack of experience and no degree, it was difficult for her to become hired. Meanwhile, we have Satayu played by Great. He is a businessman who is very strict about his work. Satayu is the President of his grandfather's company. Many of his family members envy him because he isn't even his grandfather's biological grandson but he gets to have the highest position in the family. That's because all of his uncle's children are of no good use. Although Satayu's mother passed away while giving birth to him, his grandfather thinks that he brings him good luck and good fortune because after he was born, his business became much better after almost going bankrupt. Meanwhile, Satayu hired an architect name Buree, played by Puen Khanin, to help him reconstruct his family's restaurant that he was trying to reopen. He was searching for a manager for his restaurant. He bumped into Paboo at his family's suite and thought she was one of those people who sneaked to stay for free. However, when he found out who she was, he allowed her to stay and hired her to work for him to reconstruct his restaurant. When Paboo's father heard that she had gotten a job working with Satayu, he was very proud. Basically, Paboo, Satayu, and Buree will somehow form a bond while working with each other. Buree crushes on Paboo because he likes working with her. Although she doesn't always agree with him, he likes debating with her. They've met before too but Paboo doesn't recall. Satayu had also met and was fond of Paboo before as well. In the end, Paboo will have to decide who she is truly in love with. Who will win her heart? Will it be the bubbly and charismatic Buree?
