Turns out Farhad fell under the train and is now dead. The news have been broken to the family. But little do they know while they are getting ready for Mahi’s wedding Mahi faints to the news. Mahi’s nikkah and ruksathi take place but during the wedding procession, Taimoor is shot on the way to Multan and dies. Mahi is eventually persuaded to marry Taimoor's elder brother, Sikandar. This is the start of Farhad's curse and Mahi will now lead a life of trials and tribulations.
