The Tama River, where the water flows along the border between Tokyo and Kanagawa, pours into Tokyo Bay and the large sky spreads out. Yano Katsuhiko, a weather forecaster who is divorced and is introduced by his friend, Taguchi to popular radio DJ Yukawa Sachi aka "Love Specialist". Yano recalled seeing pictures of her before but the person he actually saw is Sachi's friend, Yujin.

Kaido published "Madonna Verde" in 2008 as a sequel to "Gene Waltz," continuing the story around the controversial issue of surrogate pregnancy in Japan. In "Madonna Verde," Rie and her husband (played by comedian Jin Katagiri) want to have a child, but Rie lost her uterus due to an earlier illness. She decides to ask her own mother Midori (Matsuzaka) to be the surrogate mother, and the three of them proceed with their plan in secret. However, a man named Maruyama (Kyozo Nagatsuka), who is in love with Midori, finds out about their plan. Later, a professor at Rie's university hospital (Hirotaro Honda) receives an accusatory letter, and Midori and Rie are desperately forced to pretend that the child in Midori's womb is her own. --

Several princesses with different temperaments reside in the palace of King Jing of Moxuan. King Jing favors Princess Yi for her gentle and kind demeanor. Not one to fight with others, she is virtuous, often sympathetic to the mansion maids, never beating nor scolding them. For her part, Princess Yi wholeheartedly returns the King’s affections.

Her radical views lead Xia Libin to have problems with his mother-in-law, and Xia Libin wants to take revenge against Xu Zilin, but in the process, the happy couple comes together. Although a variety of conflicts, pressure and changes, the four young people begin to understand each other, and gradually grow towards maturity.
