Koo Sang Joon and his family also lived there, but, during the summer, something happened at his vacation cottage and Koo Sang Joon lost everything because of that. At that time, Yoon Bo Min worked as a police officer at the nearest police substation from the vacation cottage. 20 years later, Yoon Bo Min is transferred to the same police substation where she worked before and she begins to work there as the chief. She enjoys solving things and begins to observe Jeon Young Ha closely.

Based on the two historical events of "Yichang Retreat" in 1938 and "Shipai War" in 1943, the drama tells the story of the war of resistance that occurred in Yichang from 1938 to 1943.

Lee Jung Jin will be playing the son of a conglomerate who is cold on the outside yet very warm-hearted. Chae Yeon will be playing the part of the villain in the drama and will be showing a different side of herself.
