During the summer in the present day, Jeon Youn Ha runs a vacation cottage located deep in the woods. His peaceful life is shaken by the sudden appearance of a mysterious woman named Yoo Sung A.

In the early 2000's, Koo Sang Joon ran the same vocation cottage as Jeon Young Ha did years later. Koo Sang Joon and his family also lived there, but, during the summer, something happened at his vacation cottage and Koo Sang Joon lost everything because of that. At that time, Yoon Bo Min worked as a police officer at the nearest police substation from the vacation cottage. 20 years later, Yoon Bo Min is transferred to the same police substation where she worked before and she begins to work there as the chief. She enjoys solving things and begins to observe Jeon Young Ha closely.

This series takes place in 199X on the Earth Ship, the command center of an international defence agency called Sky Force, the guardians of peace on Earth. In the ship, scientists have developed "Birdonic Waves", a newly developed technology which gives the subject superhuman abilities. Experiments called "J-Project" were successful. Aya Odagiri, the director of the project, chooses five elite Sky Force officials from Earth to use this technology. Ryū Tendō, one of the Sky Force officers, is successfully exposed to the Birdonic Waves, making him the first Jetman, the Red Hawk.

However, the Earth Ship is suddenly attacked by Vyram, an evil outer-dimensional organization bent on inter-dimensional domination. They successfully destroy the ship, apparently killing Ryū's lover and fellow candidate member Rie. In the chaos, the remaining Birdonic Waves for the other four officials become scattered on Earth, hitting four civilians. Odagiri and Tendō successfully escape and begin searching on Earth for the four remaining Jetman, training them to aid them in stopping Vyram's plans of conquering their dimension.

A story that follows Tian Chuang Hua, the Ma family's daughter-in-law who undergoes many hardships in her life, yet gathers up the strength to help her own village.

Tian Chuang Hua has always been a dutiful wife and daughter-in-law. She had hoped that her husband could return home to spend the new year with family, but was greeted with a set of divorce papers. Tian Chuang Hua and her own daughter have problems of their own and debtors are knocking on their door. At this time, her worst nightmare comes true. She learns that her father has passed away, but continued to be filial to her in-laws.

Tian Chuang Hua's kindness does not go unnoticed as her parents-in-law accept her over their own son. Even with the trials and tribulations, she learns to overcome her problems one at a time and starts on a venture to developing tourism for the village. By chance, she discovers that her mother-in-law's paper-cutting skills are a treasured art form.

Yamashita Kotaro was living a peaceful life as a publisher part-timer aspiring to be a mobile phone novelist until two females suddenly appeared in his life. The 'W' Files (衛斯理) is a 2003 Hong Kong fantasy-adventure-mystery television period drama serial based on Ni Kuang's novel series Wisely, starring Gallen Lo as Wisely. The series was first broadcast on TVB in Hong Kong from 2 June to 11 July 2003. The 30-episodes long series contains a total of eight different stories, set in China in the 1930s. In the 1930s, Wisely returns to China from his overseas studies and runs a detective agency in Shanghai to investigate paranormal events. He meets a doctor named Pak So and she becomes his love interest, but they encounter several trials and tribulations to test their love before they finally get together. The series is divided into eight different stories, with Wisely and his team setting off to investigate and crack each mystery case. I have watched this series a few times and I still like it! This version of Wisely is set in 1930s Shanghai, and consist of a few stories. I like the part where all the stories or characters seem intertwined with each other and then it all comes full circle and comes to an end on the last story which connects to the beginning scene. In this version, Wisely (Gallen Lo) is the rich heir to a successful pawnshop business, which he has no interest to run, so let one of his best friends Cheung Ching (Power Chan) to manage the pawnshop together with a few assistants. Wisely himself owns a detective agency together with his other best friend, the Sherlock Holmes dress-a-like Siu Kwok (Evergreen Mak) and his secretary Mei Sin (Fiona Yuen), who is also the niece of Wisely’s butler Lao Choi (Chun Wong). Wisely lives in his big family home together with Lao Choi, his housekeeper Sister Foon (Ha Ping) who has dementia, and his cousin Hung Hung (Tavia Yeung).
