Once a top lecturer, Lei Ming who has experienced repeated failures in his attempts to start a business applies for a high school teaching job. Lei Ming's plan is to recruit students with potential and transform them from under-performers to sought after students.

A special class headed by English teacher Lei Ming and psychology teacher Sang Xia has been established as a way to help students reach their potential. Li Ran is an ordinary student who was orphaned at a young age. Despite being sick, his grandmother has been working hard to ensure that he will be able to go to university to realize his dream in robotics. Meanwhile, the filial Li Ran plans to drop out of school so he can earn money to cure his grandmother.

Lei Ming is a teacher who won't give up on any student, so he tries his best to prevent Li Ran from dropping out. He also brings together Cheng Yushan and other problems students into his class. Lei Ming and Sang Xia work hand in hand from their respective expertise in education and psychological counselling to help each student face many difficulties. In the end, the students work hard to get into the university of their choice and start the next journey in their lives.

The story is set in the three historical stages of the Shanghai Concession in 1941, the Battle of Jinzhou in 1948 and the liberation of Shanghai in 1949. In order to investigate the mystery behind the death of his former colleague, border police officer Wu Ju accepts a special mission to become an undercover agent in the frontlines of a dangerous anti-drug operation.

Wu Ju (Zhang Danfeng) joins an undercover operation in order to avenge his comrade-in-arms who died in the anti-drug campaign. He approaches Qi Tian (Wang Xuan), the son of former drug lord Qi Tai (Mo Han), and gains his trust. Qi Tian believes that Qi Tai's former subordinate Wan Yanbin (Hai Yitian) is the culprit that killed his father. Wu Ju helps Qi Tian evade Wan Yanbin's pursuit and also learns that behind Wan Yanbin is a drug lord known as "Doctor" who is the real mastermind of the criminal organization.

Wu Ju makes it into "Doctor's" inner circle along with Qi Tian but he also becomes a target for police detective An Ning (Yuan Yuxuan) who is not aware that he is an undercover cop. With his courage and extraordinary wisdom, Wu Ju fights the most vicious domestic and foreign drug trafficking groups while experiencing the tests of friendship, love and life until the time he can finally destroy the drug cartel in one fell swoop.

Story 1 "Ice and Snow Love"

Set during the year of 1980, the story follows Yan Zhen Hua, a young ice skater who has been selected to enter a sports school in Harbin, China with his friend, Tang Jian. Both of them, who grew up in the 'snow' have been fighting hard on their dreams with hope since they were children. In the school, they both met Li Bing He, a girl from the city who has a bright and smart personality. The three of them eventually became close friends who share one thing in common, a dream on the ice. Because of an accident, Tang Jian quit speed skating and his dreams were shattered. Then, Yan Zhen Hua became skating partner with Li Bing He. The two established empathy as they go through many competitions together and eventually, falls in love with each other. However, after various twists and turns, both of them decided to broke up. Yan Zhen Hua turned into a short track speed skater to continue their dreams as the three eventually parted ways.

Story 2 "Winter Olympics Dream"

Set during the year of 2019, when China is making adequate preparations for the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics. The story follows Yan Yang, the son of Yan Zhen Hua, who was selected from the local club for the short track speed skating national Olympic training camp. In the camp, he met Jin Ying, Tang Han and other outstanding players, as well as coach Chen Jin and team doctor Li Nian Xue. He has worked hard from the sparring of female team skaters to full-time skater. His understanding of sportsmanship and Olympic spirit has gradually deepened in his heart. After finding out his parent's story, he has become more determined in his dreams. The journey of the previous generation of Winter Olympics was full of regrets but the skaters of the new era took over the baton and continued the dreams.
