An Ni, a prosecutor of the Jiangcheng Procuratorate, was assigned by Chief Prosecutor Xu Ailin to handle the case investigating a missing college student who jumped off into a lake. She started with Zhao Jikai, the General Manager of Huiquan Games, and found connection between him and overseas organizations that promote bullying, leading to the arrest of the crime perpetrators. While Huiquan Games’ stocks price plummeted, Yin Huiquan donates to Jiangxiao Academy which would in turn corrupt minors in the guise of charity.

The student Li Xiaowen and other victims come forward, publicly denouncing the unorthodox means of Jiangxiao Academy to control youngsters. An Ni presents solid evidences in the court, leading to the academy’s shut down and punishment of those who were involved.

Yan Qin, who took over the Huiquan Games, misappropriated the funds to invest in the development of a copper mine. However, this investment venture was a Ponzi scheme by an online financial fraud gang. With sufficient evidence, An Ni went abroad to participate in a cross-border trial. With the cooperation of Chinese and foreign judicial organizations, Qian Tianxin was sent back to China and his assets were frozen.

With a name that means “happiness”, one might suspect that He Xing Fu’s life would be full of nothing but joy. Unfortunately, as is the case for so many of us, Xing Fu’s life was filled with several ups and downs that brought as many moments of sorrow as they did joy. Even at her wedding, which should have been one of the happiest days of her life, Xing Fu was forced to deal with a fair amount of mortification after her sister, He Xing Yun suffered unexpected humiliation. To make matters worse, the village chief’s son, Wan Chuan Jia was injured which won her no favors with the village chief, Wan Shang Tang.

Despite the unexpected mayhem at her wedding, Xing Fu settled happily into her new life with her husband, Wang Qing Lai. Sadly, their happiness was soon disrupted after a new health care product factory moved to town and almost immediately requisitioned her in-law’s land. Refusing to give up the land without a fight, Xing Fu decides to team up with Shang Tang to take the factory owners to court. Unfortunately, things don’t work out in their favor. Ultimately forced into the city to find work, Xing Fu does the best she can but the struggles of city life prove too much for this small-town woman.

Returning to her village, Xing Fu is determined to do whatever it takes to make the life she dreams of, not just for herself but for her entire village. Will the struggles she faces ultimately lead her to the happiness her name seems to have destined her for?

In order to manipulate the results of an inter-school debating contest, a group of unscrupulous teachers decides to throw together a motley crew of misfits that they expect to perform dismally in the competition. The rag-tag group comprises the likes of the headstrong Xiao Yu and the rudderless Nan Bei and the teachers are certain this group is destined for failure.

But, against the odds, the team discovers a way to pool their respective skills and somehow manages to become a competent, capable debating unit, ready to take on all-comers in inter-school matchups. However, the scheming school principal realizes that the plot is threatening to backfire – attempting to undermine the new team.

But have the teachers bitten off more than they can chew – and could the young debating rookies prove all the doubters wrong on the most prestigious school debating platform of them all?

Zhao Qiao Yi and Yan Mo may have been high school classmates but the only thing they had in common was the desk they shared in class. One a top student, the other failing miserably, these two couldn’t have been more different and yet, it doesn’t take long for a strong bond to form between them.

But is it really?

Unbeknownst to Qiao Yi, Yan Mo hasn’t forgotten his old friend, nor the feelings he has for her. Unable to express those feelings, Yan Mo chooses to keep his actions and his feelings a secret. Always moving in the background, he works tirelessly to take care of his high school friend; but how long will he be able to keep this up before she realizes the truth?

Adapted from the popular Chinese novel, “I Don’t Like This World, I Only Like You” by Qiao Yi, which is also based on a true story of the author Qiao Yi and her husband.
