"My Lovely Enemy" takes over the KBS2 Monday-Friday 19:50 time slot previously occupied by "Love on a Rooftop

When we last saw Gye Doo-Shik in the 2001 Korean gangster comedy My Boss My Hero, he was a second-in-command gangster who was forced by his boss to get a high school diploma in order to move up the mob ladder. There, he was subjected to bullies, rival gangs, and various forms of corporal punishment. The film became a mega-hit and was etched forever into Korean pop culture history as a leading example of South Korea's popular gangster comedy genre. Five years later, Doo-Shik and company return for more of the same in the sequel My Boss, My Student. This time, there's more of everything -- a larger cast, more subplots, more violence, more gangsters, etc. Even the screen is wider. The result is a true blockbuster that brought twice the box office gross of its predecessor (as of now, it is the second highest-grossing Korean film of 2006).

In 1990, Myung Jae enrolled in a major he wasn't interested after studying three years for college and spending meaningless days in class. But he fell in love with Seo Young at first sight and joined the singing club to be with her. But Myung Jae feels that Jung Woo, a golden boy majoring in dentistry, is a competition. Yang-Soon (Choi Yoon-Young) aspired to write a novel, but her father's death led to her giving up her dream and, instead, work as a reporter for a magazine. By chance, she brings home a stray cat. She takes care of the cat even though she has allergies to cats. One day, a man, Chi-Woong (Hyun Woo), appears and insists the cat has an owner who is looking for the cat. Chi-Woong then takes the cat from Yang-Soon. Chi-Woong went to law school mainly to satisfy his father. He realized in law school that he didn't want to become a lawyer and dropped out without telling his family. He now struggles to become a photographer and supports himself by woking for a private detective office. A clients requests that they find his cat. He faces Yang-Soon once he locates the cat. Through their meeting, Yang-Soon and Chi-Woong discover a family's hidden truth.

  The drama will center around Ma Yeo Jin (Ko Hyun Jung), a elementary teacher of the 6th grade and her students Shim Ha Na (Kim Hyang Gi), Oh Dong Goo (Chun Bo Geun) and Kim Seo Hyun (Kim Sae Ron) who are reveling against her. Teacher Ma is very realistic and to her elementary students, she shows how tough it is to live the world. Instead of being a shield for her students, she herself becomes the authority. She often pushes her students to the edge by blackmailing and mischief-making. Whole class of 6-3 (class 3 of the sixth grade) is rebelling against teacher Ma's educational attitude which is incomprehensible. Sometimes they would betray each other, sometimes they help each other and gradually they realize secret of the reality and make on their own views of the world. This kind of setting of the drama is totally new compared to the previous drama where the teachers were always the protectors of their students. Teacher Ma is trying to be the high wall for the students and her students are trying not to be defeated and overcome the highness of the wall. And such strong plot will touch the hearts of the viewers with massive emotions. Through the story to show the meaning of the true education and will make the viewers look back on the true meaning of the happiness.

Ho-Jung is a cute, naive girl who often falls head over heals with the wrong guys. Both Ho-Jung and Kyu-In, her neighbor, are idealistic about love. They start off on the wrong foot and treats each other as if they were siblings, constantly fighting. Ho-Jung's friend Cha Hee has a thing for Kyu-In and Ho-Jung later realizes that she too has feelings for him. Ho-Jae, Ho-Jung's brother, is a player, who has good physical features. Things start to get complicated for Ho-Jae when he falls for Ho-Jung's friend Soo-Ji, who does not have a physical appeal but has a good personality and intelligence.

The first couple could be defined as "True Love"

After living a beautiful romance on the campus Hyun Jun (Bae Yong Joon) and Se Young (Lee Young Ae) marry, but as the emergence of everyday difficulties the love between them begins to be shaken and finally when Young misunderstands the Hyun Jun's relationship with Hye Min ends up filing for divorce.

The second couple could be defined as: "comic love"

A love as comfortable and natural as the friendship between two people. Yong Gong is a schoolmate of Se Young besides being a doctor of a natural medicine clinic or as it is known oriental medicine. He is a widowed father and one day he goes to the pharmacy and meets Hye Won and is attracted to But it is at this point that we see the difficulties in harmonizing Eastern medicine (which is based on natural measures) and Western medicine (which is based on medicines).

And the third couple that we could define as: "The animated and naive love"

It is a love typical of the 90's generation where we see a playboy by nature IN Pyo (Jung Chan) who was accustomed to many adventures with girls.
