Top National Security agent Joo Tae Joo who is rapidly rising up the ranks, dislikes all animals. In order to obtain his next promotion, he volunteers to take on a mission in which he has to protect a special Chinese panda named Ming Ming. At its welcoming ceremony, Ming Ming is kidnapped by an international terrorist organization. While chasing after the terrorists, Tae Joo injures his head and is knocked out. When he finally regains consciousness, he finds out that he now possesses a strange ability to talk to the animals and finds a sole witness to the kidnapping incident – a stubborn retired military dog named Ali. Wanting to retake the title as the top agent, Tae Joo and Ali become unlikely partners on a mission to rescue Ming Ming.

One night at his apartment, Sang Hoon hears a woman's scream. He looks outside his apartment and sees Tae Ho hitting a woman with a hammer. Sang Hoon and Tae Ho then make direct eye contact. Sang Hoon does not call the police. The next day, that woman is found dead. Detective Jae Yeob investigates the case. Sang Hoon is still terrified and does not tell Detective Jae Yeob about what he witnessed. Soon, another resident who witnessed the same murder is killed by Tae Ho. Sang-Hoon tries to protect himself and his family from the murderer.

A 40-year-old taxi driver is found dead at Yakcheon. Hyun Woo, who was a witness, is charged with murder despite his cry for innocence and serves 10 years in prison. After being released from prison, Hyun Woo tries to lead a quiet life with his mother, but the stigma of being a convicted murderer is hard to rid of. Meanwhile, lawyer Joon Yeong just lost a huge class-action suit. Heavily in debt, he decides to find a job at a law firm. While offering pro bono services arranged by the firm, Joon Yeong meets Hyun Woo, and they begin their journey to prove Hyun Woo's innocence.

Lee Yeong Oh is a genius neurosurgeon who just came back to Korea after finishing his studies abroad. He now works with his father, Lee Gun Myung, who is the head of the cardio-cerebrovascular center at Hyunsung hospital. However, Yeong Oh lacks empathy towards his patients due to his antisocial personality disorder.

One day, traffic policewoman Gye Jin Sung sees a murder in front of her, which was disguised as a traffic accident. She rushes the victim to Hyunsung hospital, where her crush Surgeon Hyun Suk Joo, of the cardiothoracic section, and Surgeon Yeong Oh operate on him. Unfortunately, the patient dies and she starts suspecting Surgeon Yeong Oh of foul play. Meanwhile, a series of bizarre patient deaths start occurring at the hospital and Yeong Oh starts investigating it.

People who commit cruelty against the weak in order to enrich themselves with more money and power while answering to no one are monsters. A man takes on the corrupt elite or “monsters” whose identities are hidden from the public after he loses his family in a conspiracy that was engineered by very powerful people. In a twist, he finds love amid the shady underworld and through this turn of events, this TV miniseries sends a message of noblesse to oblige and the true meaning of life.

The series talk about four different couples living together in one apartment complex.

Both in their thirties, Oh Do Shi is a voice actor and Ryu Du Ri is a blogger. They simply chose to live together instead of getting married, and have been sharing an apartment for two years.

Jeong Yeong Jun and Choi Ji Nyeo are a couple that's twelve years apart in age. Ji Nyeo has the personality of a penny-pinching ajumma and basically supports her younger boyfriend in the hope that he will someday realize his dream, while Yeong Jun is an unemployed musician who carries around a guitar he doesn't know how to play. They've been living together for a year, and are quick to fight and make up.

Park Hwan Jong and Ha Seol Eun are in their twenties and have just moved in together. Seol Eun wants her boyfriend to believe that she's the perfect embodiment of femininity, and works tirelessly to keep up the illusion.

Lee Jun Jae is a loner who prefers to stay at home, but is forced to find a roommate for financial reasons. He doesn't even want to exchange unnecessary small talk so he advertises for a foreigner who can't speak Korean very well. Enter Takuya, a Japanese guy on his travels. Takuya thinks Jun Jae is wasting his youth, and begins to draw him out into the world.

Because of her father's sudden death, Lee Soon Shin and her mother fall in trouble. They both attempt to find happiness, while Lee Soon Shin falls in love.

Meanwhile Shin Joon Ho is the president of an entertainment management company. He is over confident, arrogant and cold-blooded. By meeting Lee Soon Shin, he realizes the meaning of true success and also changes.

Jung Ae has three daughters: Hye Shin, Yoo Shin and Soon Shin. Hye-Shin, the oldest daughter, married a competent man and has a daughter. She has just arrived back from Hong Kong with her daughter, but without her husband. Yoo-Shin, the middle daughter, looks down upon younger sister Soon Shin. Meanwhile, Soon-Shin tries to hold a steady job, but keeps failing. She is adopted, but unaware of that fact.

One day, Soon Shin gets a temporary part-time job at a hotel. If she does well she can get a permanent position. On the first day of her new job, Soon-Shin works with actress Song Mi Ryung's photo book release event at the hotel. Joon Ho, who is the president of an entertainment company, attends the event. Joon Ho meets his ex-girlfriend Yeon A there, whom he still hasn't gotten over.

Soon Shin and entertainment company president Joon Ho then physically bump into each other. Joon Ho becomes covered with the food that Soon-Shin was serving. He becomes so angry that he asks the hotel manager to fire Soon-Shin, even though she begs him not to.

On the way home, Soon Shin meets a man who introduces himself as a president of an entertainment company. He tells Soon-Shin that she has the looks to become a talent and gives her his name card. Soon Shin goes back home excited. Her mother has prepared a festive dinner to celebrate Hye Shin's return from Hong Kong. During dinner, Soon Shin tells everyone that she was scouted on the street, but middle sister Yoo Shin again acts condescending towards her. Soon Shin bursts into anger. Even though her family laughs at her and thinks it's ridiculous, her mother Jung Ae thinks differently.
