The 35th Super Sentai is an unbelievable team that uses the powers of previous teams to fight. They are the Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger. Though they came to Earth seeking the “greatest treasure in the universe”, they protected the planet from the invading Space Empire Zangyack and came to believe that the Earth was worth protecting.

Ten years have passed since then. The public gambling activity “Super Sentai Derby Colosseum” has been established on Earth and has been hugely popular across every generation. Though the many Super Sentai heroes had been the targets of bets, they cooperate with the Colosseum project so long as the money is used for defending the Earth. However, one Super Sentai could not be contacted. That team had disbanded and each member gone on their separate paths. It was during this time that Captain Marvelous appeared on Earth, issuing a challenge to the Colosseum’s administration. But standing opposite from Marvelous is Gai Ikari whose views match those of the Colosseum’s.

Is it the Gokaigers or the people of Earth that are changed from this passage of time? How will Joe, Luka, Doc, and Ahim respond to these circumstances? After ten years, an extraordinary battle is about to begin…!

Wada Masao who works at an electrical manufacturer on weekdays and plays the bass in a band on weekends; having been single for the past 3,000 days, Wada sets out to create delicious dishes for his non-existent girlfriend in his imaginary world so as to earn her praise.

Ishibashi Taro is 38-years-old, single and works for a big bank. Miyoshi Reiya is 37 years old, divorced and works as a dentist. Iwakura Kazuhiko is 45-years-old, single and works as a lawyer. These three men are close friends and they enjoy their lives as single men, but they begin to think about marriage.

Sakisaka Kento is a lawyer with an outstanding career. He seems cool and handsome, but he is a zealous person who will confront things that are unreasonable and wrong head-on. There are times when he values the words of a single person and not a lawyer. Sakisaka is regarded as the ace of the law firm, but his only weak point is a lawyer at the same firm who also happens to be his ex-wife Natsume Yoshie. He has been raising their daughter Mizuki as a single father since their divorce. A stylish lawyer who holds her head high, Yoshie is down-to-earth and a perfectionist. These two rival lawyers often have well-reasoned legal arguments regarding the cases of their clients. However, when they wander off topic, they will call each other “papa” and “mama” the moment they lose their cool and start quarreling like a couple.

16 years ago, there was an occurrence of zombies in western Mexico. They rapidly spread around the world through the transmission of a virus. The world was thrown into panic with the appearance of the first zombies, but because their movements were slow and they were also feeble, zombies were not commonly perceived to be such a threat and their existence became an everyday affair. In Tamagawa ward in Japan, there is a special welfare division where all the defective staff members from other divisions have been transferred. The primary responsibilities of this division are to manage and capture special insurance subjects (residents carrying the zombie virus or zombified residents). Akaba Shinsuke is one such staff member, but he is in no way motivated. In his 25 years, he has had no one to call girlfriend and leads an uninspiring life. However, one day, a girl with the looks of an idol and skills of a martial artist is assigned as a rookie

This e-mail message was sent by Mika Kimoto, an editor working at a publisher in Daiba, Tokyo.

Coming from a wealthy family, Mika has always had everything she has ever wanted and more. She is a third-generation Korean living in Japan. She loves her job, and her Japanese boyfriend is a doctor.

There's one thing that bothers Mika though... Her father Masao is very conscious of his ethnic heritage and will allow Mika to marry only a Korean. When her relationship falls apart because of her father's interference, she just happens to post the above message on a mobile phone dating service.

Ryosuke, a blue-collar warehouse worker at Shinagawa Pier, replies to Mika's message.

Daiba and Shinagawa Pier are separated by Tokyo Bay. Mika is a career woman working at a major firm. Ryosuke lives a meager life doing manual labor at a warehouse. There seems to be nothing in common between the two. Still, destiny brings them together.

One day Mika happens to find her late mother Yuri's diary. Written within is the tale of Yuri's concealed relationship with a Japanese man before she married Masao. Mika finds out her mother's hidden past and her passion for the man she loved. Without knowing it, she is about to follow the same path as her mother.
