Although Aoshima and Yukino work at the same company, they have never spoken to each other. One day, they happen to meet at a bar that Yukino frequents, and they end up sitting next to each other! When she receives a call from a friend, Yukino remembers that she had made a promise to attend a wedding "with her boyfriend" and panics, saying, "Oh no, we broke up six months ago...!" The wedding is next week, and Yukino is worried about what to do. She asks Aoshima to pretend to be her boyfriend for just one day and attend her friend's wedding. To her surprise, he agrees! Yukino is relieved, but in fact, Aoshima has a plan... As they pretend to be together, Aoshima somehow starts to become interested in Yukino, who she had no interest in at all, and Yukino is at the mercy of a mean, younger tsundere boy. She’s at her wits’ end when her childhood friend Takumi suddenly reappears into her life. Takumi suggests that Yae take on a part-time job as his “fake wife” for the next six months. He has his reasons for wanting people to think he’s married. Yae has no other choice but to accept his proposal, and in return receives housing and living expenses for playing the role of his “fake wife.”
So begins a “fake marriage” with a time limit. Unbeknownst to Yae, she was Takumi’s first love, even though she thinks of him as nothing more than a childhood friend. Takumi struggles awkwardly but earnestly to win Yae’s heart and find true love. Even though their marriage starts as a sham, will the day come when this couple can become something more?

One day Osomatsu meets an elderly gentleman who tells him a story about his son, who he lost in an accident. Coincidentally, Osomatsu looks similar to the deceased son, and so the gentleman wishes to adopt him. The man turns out to be the CEO of a big company, and, after overhearing the conversation, the rest of the sextuplets deicide to get into a fight with Osomatsu to decide who will become the heir. Later on, the story takes a sudden, unexpected twist as three strange men dressed in black show up.
