Saigo Takamori, the hero of the Meiji Restoration, was born to a poor, low-ranking samurai family in the Satsuma domain (present day Kagoshima Prefecture). His simple honesty caught the attention of its charismatic feudal lord of Satsuma, Shimazu Nariakira. Nariakira’s assertion that the love of people is what will enrich and strengthen the nation captivated Saigo who took on Nariakira’s secret mission and eventually became a key person for Satsuma. Not a portrait of him survives today and much of his life is a mystery. He is a man who was twice exiled and thrice married. He overthrew the Tokugawa Shogunate with exceptional bravery and action. Although he accomplished the restoration, he lost his life in a fight with the new Meiji government.

Two historical incidents that deepened the friendship between Japan and Turkey.

Story 1- In the night of September 16, 1890, the Turkish frigate Ertugrul is caught up in a typhoon and sinks off the coast of Kushimoto, Japan. With more than 500 crew members dead, it's the largest sea accident in history at that time. An extraordinary rescue effort is taken by the local residents to save the Turkish sailors.

Story 2 - In 1985, during the Iran-Iraq War, Iraq announces an indiscriminate attack over Iranian air space. More than 300 Japanese nationals are stuck in Tehran, Iran. Turkey offers to evacuate the Japanese by sending a Turkish airplane. For the remaining Turks who are still in Tehran, this means that they won't be able to board their own country's evacuation flight.

A Japanese-Turkish co-production.

Sarumaru Yataro, nicknamed "Saru" is an average guy in his 20's who daydreams about idols but otherwise has no luck with women (due to the fact that he's extremely perverted). His father abandoned him at a young age and his mother passed away while he was in high school. He took over his father's shop and became a locksmith. While working at his fathers locksmithing business, Saru uses his genius-like lock picking skills to help people and to take on dangerous cases. There are a lot of perverted jokes in this drama but no nudity. Each episode will keep you laughing and laughing till you burst!

A psychological drama that explores the dilemma of whether a person who has had integral parts of them changed, fundamentally remain the same person.

Naruse Junichi hopes to one day become a painter, but he works currently on a factory line. His girlfriend is Megumi and his days are generally happy. On Christmas Eve, Junichi stops by a jewelry store to buy an engagement ring. He then becomes a part of a robbery at the jewelry and he suffers a head injury. Junichi becomes the first successful brain transplant patient in the world.

Junichi is unaware that he received a brain transplant. When he is discharged from the hospital, Junichi's hearing becomes sensitive and he also becomes violent. He does not hold the same feelings for his girlfriend, Megumi. Junichi realizes he is changing and becomes seized with horror. Meanwhile, Megumi hopes Junich becomes his old self. She also seeks to unlock the hidden mystery of Junichi's operation.

The story deals with a hospital in a village, which is run by Sakuranomiya family. The hospital does mainly end-of-life care. The residents there place their full confidence in the hospital.

One day, a radiologist at the hospital disappears with one CT. What did the radiologist try to discover and what is the secret the family tries to keep secret about the hospital?

One day, the new rookie Seike Mayo, is assigned as Kurokouchi's partner. Excellent, but naive, she is the exact opposite of Kurokouchi, but nonetheless, the duo combi relentlessly chase down the criminals.

Esumi's character Tamami is the "bull doctor" of the show's title, which comes from the word "bulldozer." Ignoring any opposition from the people around her, she uses any means necessary to determine the truth behind the deaths of the bodies she examines. Because of her personality, she is constantly at odds with both Ishihara and Inagaki's characters.
