Zhang Chu Lan, an ordinary young man, gets entangled in an unprecedented world of "Outsiders" when his grandfather's body mysteriously disappears. Facing unexpected pursuit from the Sinister Pleasure, a relentless organization, and the sudden appearance of an enigmatic girl named Feng Bao Bao, he decides to no longer hide his superpower.

As he delves into his grandfather's past, he gradually becomes part of the world of outsiders, where the mysteries of history start to unravel. The martial arts technique taught to him by his grandfather, known as Qi Apotheosis, is one of the Eight Supreme Skills being sought after by many martial arts groups with ulterior motives. He then met Wang Ye in the Martial Arts Tournament, an outsider who mastered one of the Eight Supreme Skills: Gate of Gale. Wang Ye's motives were to explain to him how heavy his fate is and also to follow the advice of his grandmaster. Behind it all lies a shocking secret, and Feng's mysterious origins seem to hold the key to the truth.

The young outsiders fight shoulder to shoulder to overcome the challenges and become friends who have each other's backs. On their journey of growth, each one searches for their sense of righteousness, while a battle between good and evil looms on the horizon...

A story about targeted poverty alleviation in Wanmixi village follows a second-generation poverty alleviation officer and an urban reporter from the big city who overcome numerous difficulties in their efforts to lead the villagers out of poverty.

The per capita arable land in Wanmixi Village is very small. Resources are scarcely coupled with transportation difficulties. For hundreds of years, people haven't been able to escape poverty. In 2015, a young man by the name of Pu Quansheng arrives at the village. He is well-versed in the Miao and Tujia dialects and gradually makes changes to improve the situation at Wanximi Village.

However, idealism may be beautiful but difficult to implement and the process is full of challenges. Under the guidance of the party, Pu Quansheng enforces new policies and resolutely looks into village cadres who favor their own relatives and friends. In punishing laziness, he also seeks to encourage others to fight for their own dignity and to bring out their spirit of self-reliance.

"The Nine Rivers into the Sea" tells the heavy history of Tianjin from 1901 to 1949. Through the ups and downs of the three generations of the protagonists of the story-Haijia, Liujia and Tangjia, it vividly expresses the rugged character of Tianjin's people outside, rich, inside and harmonious. And the beautiful process of Tianjin gradually becoming the political and financial center of northern China of that era.

Lin Quan Hai, a sea captain and father, returns from a six-month journey and is informed that his 25-year-old son Lin Bo has been shot by the police. In finding out what happened, he comes to realize that he knew little of his son. He starts journeying back to Chongqing, a city where he once lived. He begins to understand the effect that his repeated absence had on his son's life.

It's a heroic tale of three blood brothers and their struggle in the midst of war and political upheaval. It is based on "The Assassination of Ma," a Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) story about the killing of general Ma Xinyi.
