Yun Tian He, a young man who had been living alone on a mountain peak, was on a regular boar hunting trip when he came across the young woman Han Ling Sha, from a clan of short-lived tomb raiders, attempting to break into his parents' tomb, culminating in the destruction of the tomb, and setting him on a journey alongside Ling Sha to the outside world to uncover his parents' past. On the journey, they encountered and befriended the adopted daughter of the magistrate of Shouyang, Liu Meng Li, who seemed to have connections to Tian He's father, and a skilled and kind swordmaster who trained at Mt. Kunlun's Qionghua School since a young age, Murong Zi Ying.

Lan Jue, the Minister of Rites, is constantly embroiled in the political strife of the court. Possessing a graceful and elegant appearance, he seems to lead a smooth-sailing life, but actually hides a history, unknown to many.

While traveling to the Capital for the National Examinations, Ping unknowingly becomes entangled in Jue's secret operation. Using clever reasoning, Ping solves the case, disrupting Jue's plan. While saving Jue's life, Ping discovers Jue's secret.

Henceforth, the pair, despite being unequal in status and possessing incompatible ideals become close friends. Together they will face tough cases head-on and life and death situations. With Jue's recommendations, Ping transforms from poor scholar to minister in the Dali Temple, where he solves cases, handles court affairs, all the while distinguishing himself as a most brilliant detective.

Inference Notes (推理笔记) is the drama version of thriller film out not so long ago featuring Chen Dou Ling and Lin Bo Hong. The drama version has Hou Ming Hao, Zhang Zi Feng, and Wang Duo. The story revolves around our students and leading the group is a mathematical genius played by Zhang Zi Feng and Ming Hao takes on the other half of her partner-in-crime status. After receiving a heart transplant, she begins getting entangled in murder mysteries within and around the school, which is the tip of something darker and more sinister – organ trafficking.

The story takes place in a sacred mainland of Odin (or Wotan), separated into four counties based on the four elements - water, fire, wind and earth. In order to find out the truth about his mother's death, the heir of Feng Shang Group, Shang Bo Ran (Chen Xue Dong), joins a fashion magazine publisher while hiding his identity. There he meets his rival at work, the naive and optimistic, Lu Xiao Kui (Ouyang Nana). Due to a strange combination of circumstances, the two bickering colleagues end up living together and gradually fall in love with each other.
