Nitta Masaki is about to start work as a music teacher at a high school. The high school has experienced turbulence due to the missing person case of the prior music teacher. On the night before Nitta Masaki's first day of work, he visits the music classroom and plays the piano. There, he meets student Izumi Sae. She is his student in homeroom class. Through the missing person case, Nitta Masaki and Izumi Sae soon get closer to each other. Nitta Masaki doesn’t want to admit that his feelings for her has turned into love. Meanwhile, Izumi Sae has no doubt that her feelings for him is love. They then part ways.

5 years later, Nitta Masaki & Izumi Sae meet again. There doesn't seem to be any obstacles in front of them to prevent their love, except for one thing. That is Nitta Masaki is a married man, who has a wife.

Nakagawa Saori is a chef apprentice at "Chez Nishijima", a prestigious French restaurant in Tokyo in year 2020. While Saori slowly loses her confidence and passion, she suddenly slips into Tokyo in year 1964. There, she meets Kikuchi Ryuichi, a cook at western restaurant "Jade-tei" and started training under him. Ryuichi is very dedicated to cooking despite the limited ingredients and cooking utensils as compared to the present days. He shows Saori what is really important in cooking and what she lacks as a cook.

Yohei is a middle school teacher married to Miyoko. For the first time in 25 years, they begin to live by themselves after their son marries and moves out. One day, Yohei finds divorce papers which Miyoko keeps hidden, but he doesn't have the courage to ask her about it and agonizes over the papers. His involvement with students and associate in a cooking class, allows Yohei to recognize the concept of an ideal family. He takes new first steps with Miyoko.

At that moment, she happens to get scouted to be a bus guide on Ahiru Bus, a city sightseeing tour which she has boarded. She is plunged into the completely foreign world of female bus guides. Hazuki aims to turn her life around as she journeys around a rapidly changing Tokyo.
