Set between two worlds, the real world in which we live in, and another world where dragons live. Nagi is a fantasy loving high-school girl who lives in the real world. She has a special ability that allows her to visualize colors whenever she hears sounds, and doesn't feel she fits in with her surroundings. From some point, she starts to be troubled by repeated daydreams of flying in the sky.

Meanwhile Tyme lives in the alternate world of Upananta, where a strange phenomenon is occurring in which many flying islands are falling from the sky. Akuta Sky Group, led by the hero Akuta, have been trying to save people from the dangers of the world collapsing. Tyme admires Akuta, and decides to join his group as a dragon rider, but he isn't happy as he isn't able to hear the voices of the dragons and ends up being considered a "dropout".

One day, the two worlds intersect, and Nagi meets Time from Upananta.

Though they both come from different worlds, they find similarities in the fact they are different from those around them.

Hanai Sota is 22-years-old and a university student in the veterinary department. Since he was little, he has always loved animals. His apartment is full of animals that needed help. One day, Hanai Sota saves a dog that was being used in experiments. To save more of the animals, he sets up the "Inubu" club. His friend Shibasaki Ryosuke, among other people, joins the group. Shibasaki Ryosuke also loves dogs and is a student in the same veterinary department as Hanai Sota. They work hard to protect the animals. 16 years later, a report comes out. The report is about Hanai Sota, who was arrested.

Fujiki Sana, a programmer at network game company Neo Genesis, has been researching a “virtual human nurturing game” using artificial intelligence. A simulated foetus created by CG is sleeping in the screen that she is watching intently. Its speed of development is seven times faster than a human being.

Together with Kiyotake Mitsuo, the head of the development team, and Mizushima Moemi, a junior programmer, Sana inputs vast amounts of data into the simulated foetus, making it grow at a rapid pace in an attempt to create an imaginary character. Michio Harutaka, a key development member, is Sana’s fiance and they plan to hold their wedding soon, but an incident happened. Later, Sana starts to enter all sorts of data relating to her late husband Harutaka into AI. Wanting to see Harutaka again, Sana attempts to recreate him in a virtual world now and produces AI with a personality and emotions just like Harutaka. She devotes herself to the work of entering data more than actual child raising. However, as it develops, she starts to realise the differences from the actual Harutaka. She eventually makes a decision. But she does not know that it will bring about an unexpected outcome.

Pharmaceutical student, Keiko witnesses her boyfriend having an affair. Shocked and disappointed, she jumps on a train ("destination anywhere, east or west, she don't care") and ends up in a town named Masao in Tokyo's remote suburbs. There, she gets a part-time job at a newly opened drugstore. What do ya know.. The local shopping district's middle-aged men all fall for the young girl's charms, and they start practicing lacrosse once they have found out that that's her favourite sport.

34-year-old Nishida Rika is about to put an end to a three-year affair and move towards marriage. The man she had been having an affair with is the handsome, desirable Kashiwagi Sota. 20 years her senior, the ambitious Kashiwagi is the managing director of a large corporation. He has a beautiful wife, Mitsuko, and a daughter who is a high school student, Miu. Because her mother died when she was 17, Rika has been attached to her father. She sought a father figure and fell in love with Kashiwagi. Although she realises that their affair has no future, her love for him is deep. However, she is betrayed and dumped by Kashiwagi. Furthermore, Mitsuko orchestrated it. The moment Rika learns about this, the flames of vengeance flare up within her. Even so, she is not able to completely become the wicked woman. Then she finds out that Mitsuko is emotionally reliant on businessman Ochiai Keiichi who is the younger brother of Kashiwagi’s good friend. Rika decides to steal his heart and starts to date him with a view to marriage.

In the middle of this, a weird letter from “Tanaka Yasuo”, a stranger, is posted to Yoriko. Miki occasionally comes to visit, but is astonished by her sister’s lethargy. Then Yoriko visits Koichi, the ex-boyfriend she broke up with five years ago and whom she cannot forget, and cries in front of his home. However, she gets turned away. Yoriko continues to get letters from “Tanaka Yasuo” even after this. This is the story of the small incidents that occur within a 7-minute walking distance from Yoriko’s apartment.

Former police officer Terahara Ken (Omori Nao) works for a private security firm. He is suddenly summoned back to Japan while on duty in Taiwan and ordered to protect Matsuoka Takanori (Takeda Tetsuya), the secretary general of the Democratic Party. On the other hand, public prosecutor Sakurai Satoko (Kuroki Hitomi), who was transferred to the Kochi District Public Prosecutors Office for a previous whistle-blowing incident, returns to the Special Investigation Department of the Tokyo District Public Prosecutors Office in a reshuffle by her former superior for the purpose of indicting a big shot. In the midst of this, a branch office of Tokyo’s Aoba Shinkin Bank is blown up and the bank’s armoured truck is attacked. The bomber who has set the events in motion is a young man called Aoyagi Tomoya (Seto Koji). This incident creates a link between Terahara, Matsuoka, Satoko and Ishikawa Aki (Tanaka Rena) who works at Aoba Shinkin Bank. After that, this link unexpectedly starts to extend to include Takashima Shoichi (Tamayama Tetsuji), a Hokkaido junior high school teacher; Kawamoto Rie (Mimura), a Tokyo nurse; Sawada Tsutomu (Tanaka Naoki), an Osaka apparel company employee; and Sean (Ayano Go), an IT company president.

Disappointed by the news that the object of her affection is getting married, Takako (Kikuchi Akiko) quits her job suddenly. She soon receives an offer from her uncle Satoru, who asks for her to come help run his bookstore in Jinbocho; a district of Tokyo with a high concentration of book stores, publishing companies, and distribution warehouses. Thus begins her everyday life at Morisaki Bookstore, where she absorbs the unique atmosphere and meets various quirky customers. Takako hadn’t read many novels in her life, but she finds herself being gradually drawn into the world of second-hand books. As summer turns to fall and winter in Jinbocho, Takako experiences personal growth through introspection and her newfound love of books.

A God of Love is sent to Earth to help different people find their ideal couple. The series last for four episodes, with four short stories.

During the late Heian era, a youth who did not know his birth parents was raised by the Heike (also known as the Taira), a samurai clan of emerging influence. Taira no Kiyomori (Matsuyama Kenichi) was in truth the illegitimate son of Emperor Shirakawa. With his adoptive father, Tadamori (Nakai Kiichi), he got rid of the pirates in the Seto Insland Sea, and was trained to be a samurai. In a period where the samurai were being discriminated by the aristocrats of the upper echelons of society, Kiyomori, who was adept at winning hearts and minds, controlled the pirates. He worked to reform the aristocracy, persisted with the way of life of the samurai and built up the mighty Taira clan (Nakamura Baijaku, Kamikawa Takaya, Fujimoto Takahiro, Daito Shunsuke). Before long, he rose from a senior courtier of the third rank to become the chief minister and the ruler of Japan.

In the late 1930's (Show Period 14), two sides in Japan are conflicted between joining Germany and Italy in a military alliance. At this time, Isoroku Yamamoto, who strongly opposed the alliance, is appointed Commander-in-Chief of the Combined Fleet. The following year, on September 27, Japan, Germany and Italy form the Axis alliance.

Isoroku Yamamoto leads the attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941. The attack's main purpose is to gain an early peace settlement. The surprise military strike appeared successful and caused massive damage, but US aircraft carriers were not damaged in the assault. After the attack, the Axis alliance initially saw advances without any defeats.

By April 18, 1942 (Show Period 17), formations of U.S. B-25B bombers, flown from an U.S. aircraft carrier, attacked the Japanese mainland for the first time. The Japanese military responded by carrying out their Midway operation, but the mission failed, and the Japanese military lost 4 aircraft carriers.

The U.S. army were encouraged by their victory at Midway and proceeded to carry out a landing operation on Guadalcanal. The Japanese and U.S. military fought fiercely. Besides the toll from fighting the U.S. military, the Japanese military suffered from starvation, dehydration and diseases while on Guadalcanal. The Japanese military were nearing collapse on Guadalcanal before Isoroku Yamamoto gave the order to withdraw to save more lives.

After the completion of the withdrawal from Guadalcanal, Isoroku Yamamoto flew on an airplane to make moral boosting visits to soldiers on the front line. His plane would be intercepted by the U.S. military.

Kawai Keisuke is a young man who aspired to become a physicist since he was young. His hopeful parents send him to an expensive college prep school, but at the age of 15, during his third year of junior high, he is diagnosed with a brain tumor. Told that he only has one year to live, he falls into despair, giving up on treatment and even lashing out against his own mother. Ultimately, with the support of his family, he struggles with the tumor for eight years before dying at the age of 23.

Based on the hit South Korean movie, My Sassy Girl, the character backgrounds and plot details will be changed for the drama. While the protagonists in the original film were college students, this time the pair will be a marine biology professor, Masaki Saburo, and Takami Riko, an aspiring writer
