Seike Ichiro is a popular, 43 year old politician. He has gained popularity for his impressive smile and liberal speech and behavior. He is expected to be a future prime minster candidate. He has a secretary, Suzuki Toshiya, who carefully works to guide him to the prime minister position. They look like a perfect match as a politician and his secretary, but Reporter Michiura Kanae feels something is off about the relationship of these two. She begins to investigate their past and notices the mysterious deaths that have followed Seike Ichiro during his rise in politics. Her own father's death, who was also a reporter, is somehow connected to the politician's past.

Saigo Takamori, the hero of the Meiji Restoration, was born to a poor, low-ranking samurai family in the Satsuma domain (present day Kagoshima Prefecture). Isayama Nami, in order to start over her life and to find happiness, married the man she fell in love with at first sight during a blind date and moved to a quiet high-end residential area. Makita Takahiro works in the Public Relations (PR) Department of Nagawara Seiyaku, a major pharmaceutical company in Japan. One day, on his way to work, he witness someone committing suicide by jumping onto the railway tracks, into the path of an oncoming train. A few days later, he is called into the Vice President, Anjo Takao's office, where he is told that the suicide may have something to do with one of the drugs manufactured by the company. Anjo then assigns Takahiro to work with the police on their investigations. As Nagawara Seiyaku is currently undergoing talks with a major foreign equity group on a possible merger, any bad publicity will put an end to that. The company will definitely go under then, as they are in the red due to the economic crisis. Takahiro has been told to not breathe a word about the investigations to anyone, not even his fiancee, Morita Mayumi, who is working as Anjo's secretary.

When the autopsy records the said drug to be found in the deceased's body, Anjo instructs Takahiro to approach the family, to persuade them on an out-of-court settlement, while they are writing up reports for the Ministry of Health. Torn between his obligation to the public and to the company, Takahiro approaches the company lawyer, Takafuji Tatsumi, for advice and help.

In the end, will Takahiro ignore his conscience in order to protect the company's profit?

Former police officer Terahara Ken (Omori Nao) works for a private security firm. He is suddenly summoned back to Japan while on duty in Taiwan and ordered to protect Matsuoka Takanori (Takeda Tetsuya), the secretary general of the Democratic Party. (Prisoner) was adapted from a true story, the account of a Japanese man arrested in Cambodia, protagonist of Sawai Kujiras Prisoner in Phnom Penh. The location changed to an imaginary island in Southeast Asia (shoot was in Thailand), but the rest remains more or less the same. Going to Seraivia to meet old senpai Yuzurihara (Nakamura Shunsuke), Izawa Keigo (Tamayama Tetsuji) finds himself involved in more than he could ever expect. He quickly learns there’s no law you cant bend with a few good dead presidents, and that embassies only work as long as you dont become a burden to them. Following a man who conned his friend, Keigo finds himself in prison, with a 10 year sentence and seemingly no way to escape, although he does find a friend in the ambiguous Pon (Ohmori Nao, his first drama appearance in two years). Real estate intrigues, corrupt police, a mounting death toll and the tasty decadence of a banana (or well, pineapple) republic. Thats Seraivia for you.

Monkey Punch's Lupin III manga and anime franchise is getting a live-action film adaptation in summer 2014.

The movie will chronicle how the five main characters meet and how they become the "Lupin Crew." The film will also include an original character, Lupin's nemesis named Michael Lee.

Lupin III (Shun Oguri), Daisuke Jigen (Tetsuji Tamayama), Ishikawa Goemon (Gou Ayano), Fujiko Mine (Meisa Kuroki) and Inspector Koichi Zenigata (Tadanobu Asano) meet. They face a powerful enemy and form the Lupin team in response. The Lupin team then faces the challenge of retrieving the "Crimson Heart of Cleopatra" locked away in a fort like safe. The treasure is thought to allow its owner to control the world.

Kiichiro Ota has recently begun work at an advertising agency. He is then forced to participate in the world's biggest TV Advertising Festival as a judge. There's parties held there every night and Kiichiro is paired with Hikari Ota, who shares the same family name, to act like husband and wife there.

At the festival, Kiichiro learns that if he doesn't allow the CM from his agency to win the grand prize then he will be fired. Directors from all over the world are gathered at the festival and the judges work within a hotel that is completely closed off. The directors scheme and bargain to make their agency win the grand prize.

"Blazing Famiglia" centers around a family of former teenage gangsters.Tetsu Hino (Yoshimi Tokui) was once the leader of the most feared motorcycle gang in the Kanto area. Now, Tetsu Hino is middle-aged man who is looked down upon by his rebellious son Shuhei (Kento Hayashi). One day, Tetsu and his old biker gang gather together again after the daughter of a member is assaulted. Tetsu, worried about his day to day life, nevertheless regains the passion from his biker days. Tetsu then finds out that Ken Igarashi (Jun Murakami) is the man behind the attack. Ken Igarashi has had a grudge against Tetsu for a long time.

A film adaptation of a Manga cartoon by Takashi Murakami of Osaka (not the contemporary artist from Tokyo). An abandoned car is discovered near a camping ground, and inside it is the body of an unidentified middle-aged man and a dog who seems to have died months later. This is the story of the life of the loving and faithful dog Happy and his owner (Toshiyuki Nishida). Told from the dog's point of view, it follows him from his puppyhood with a peaceful family, through life's changes, and to the long journey he finally makes with his owner, who he calls "father". A second story, "Himawarisou", continues the narrative, following the caseworker Okutsu Kyousuke (Tetsuji Tamayama). As he investigates the situation above, he remembers his late family and his own dog's unfailing loyalty.

Set in the 1960's, high school student Watanabe Toru loses his only friend Kizuki after he commits suicide. Toru, now looking for a new life, enters a university in Tokyo. By chance, Toru meets Kizuki's ex-girlfriend Naoko in the university. They grow close because they both share the same loss.

A phone conversation occurs between a man and a woman. They both state their love for each other and that they will do this so they can be together. The woman is in a hotel room with a view of the port. The man is inside of a parked car with a view of the ocean. A man named Colonel appears and hands the man a box with a loaded gun inside. The Colonel states "its a present from the witch".

The woman's name is Meiko (Michiko Kichise) and she is the young wife of Takamitsu Temiyako (Takamitsu Temiyako) - president of a large medical corporation. The man in the parked car is Dr. Tokito Takahiko (Hiroshi Abe) an employee of the large medical corporation. This evening, Meiko and Tokito will implement their plan to murder Meiko's husband and frame his death as a suicide.

Two young adults, Mitsuru and his girlfriend Maki, kidnap a little girl and hold her for ransom to pay off a drug-related a debt. As they hide out at an abandoned school, they attempt to call the girl's parents only to find out from her parents she has been dead for a year. Mitsuru's friends also arrive, with ulterior motives of their own. Soon, members of the group are brutally killed by an unseen force. Is the mysterious little girl responsible, or is something far more sinister at work?

Two girls meet on a train headed for Tokyo. The bubbly girl in white is named Nana and she sits next to a black clad rock girl named Nana as well. They talk briefly and seem to share some common bond, before leaving for their own seperate ways. When bubbly Nana looks at an apartment for rent in Tokyo, of course black clad Nana would be there and wants to rent the same apartment. Instead of trying to decide who should get the apartment they decide to share the apartment as roommates. From there their bond grows closer as they help each other deal with their own personal problems.

Kenta, a young pianist who has just lost his job, is drowning his woes at a bar when he meets a man in a Hawaiian shirt named Yamaki. He invites Kenta to work with him, and the next thing he knows, Kenta wakes up to find himself in a room he has never been in before. It is a strange room that seems to have no connection to life. He descends a staircase to find many shelves of books. Yamaki appears once again and tells him that this is Heaven's Book Service, and Kenta is going to start working a short-term, part-time job here. In addition to selling books, this bookstore, owned by Yamaki, provides a service of reading aloud to customers. Although he is unsure of his new surroundings, Kenta follows their actions and starts to work in his new part-time job.

A love story between a young man who has been forced to grow up too quickly, and a young woman with an ailment that has placed restrictions on her life. Natsuo has been looking after his younger brother and sister since the death of their parents. He has also been running the family bicycle shop.
