Sato Hokomi is a 29-year-old single woman with a sincere and honest personality. On her presumed wedding day, her boyfriend runs away and they break up. She finds out that her ex-boyfriend was cheating on her. Sato Hokomi decides to avoid men who are trashy and will make her cry. At that time, she meets Kuzuya Kairi, who is kind and friendly. She feels like it is fate to meet him. Kuzuya Kairi works as a photographer by day and a bartender at night. He is a mysterious person, who experienced big trauma in his past. Being influenced by Kairi Kuzuya and also determined that she wants to change herself, Sato Hokomi takes up boxing.

25-year-old Ryota Suwanori is in his first year as a medical intern at a university teaching hospital. During his childhood, his father died from a disease and his mother remarried. Even though Ryota Suwanori’s stepfather adored him, Ryota Suwanori always checked his stepfather's mood to see if he was hated. His childhood experience now leads him to get along well with people and also become perceptive to their behavior. That also affects him as a medical intern. He carefully checks his patients' condition and approaches patients who has problems. Being trained by a preceptor, Ryota Suwanori works hard with his fellow interns. During this time, he also grows into a real doctor.

Kurata Sui is a 30-year-old man, who is honest and kind to people. He first went on an airplane when he was middle school student. After that, he has always wanted to become an airplane pilot. Finally, after going through rigorous training, he has been promoted as the first officer for an airline. One day, as the first officer of the flight, he experiences a difficult time because of bad weather. Due to the excellent work of a female air traffic controller, Kurata Sui and the captain are able to land the plane safely at Haneda Airport. Since then, even though he doesn't know her name or what she looks like, Kurata Sui has fallen in love with the air traffic controller just by listening to her voice.

The female air traffic controller, who Kurata Sui is in love with, is Shibuya Mayu. As an air traffic controller, she has the skills to respond quickly to emergency situations with a cool and calm, but precise manner. Although she excels in her job as an air traffic controller, her social skills are not nearly as good. She has difficulty with expressing her feelings to others and does not feel comfortable hanging out with others. Suddenly, Kurata Sui appears in front of her and approaches her.

Nami Suzuki was born and raised in a small rural town. She doesn't have a specific dream to pursue and she is an easy going person. As an ordinary woman, she desires to be happy with an ordinary life. She follows Kenya, who is her childhood friend and her unrequited love, and applies for a job in the supply management department of a large publishing company in Tokyo. Nami gets hired by the company, but she is assigned to work in the editorial department of a fashion magazine. There, Nami Suzuki works with chief editor Reiko Horai. She is a devil like boss, who makes spiteful remarks and has a cold personality. Reiko Horai treats Nami, who doesn’t take her job seriously, in a callous manner. But, as Nami Suzuki watches her boss deal with her job, Nami begins to change her attitude toward her work.

Tamamori is a writer, and Miyata, an editor. Together they are working on a picture book, which is nearing completion. They visit a romantic seaside villa, where their days are filled with love, in order to finish it. But alas - twisted fate deems this happiness to be curtailed. Their love story explores themes of jealousy, marriage, and bereavement.

"A world" - After graduating from a university, close friends Takashi Tsurug and Tomohiko Miwa begin work at a company which does brain research. One day, Tomohiko introduces Mayuko Tsuno as his girlfriend. Takashi is stunned. When he was a university student, Takashi saw Mayuko Tsuno every day on the train opposite from the one he rode. He became attracted to her back then.

"B world" - When Takashi Tsurug wakes up, his girlfriend Mayuko Tsuno makes breakfast as usual at his apartment. His friend Tomohiko Miwa introduced him to Mayuko and they have lived happily as a couple. Everything seems to be going smoothly, but Takashi begins to have doubts. Tomohiko, who worked with him at the same company, disappears and he can't discern if his memory is real or imaginary.

Based on the novel "Parallel World Love Story" by Keigo Higashino, this film tells about a love story between three people in two worlds.

Salaryman Fukase Kazuhisa graduated from a famous university but his life is very ordinary and unremarkable. His only hobby – if it can be called that – is drinking coffee. Coffee, in fact, leads him to Mihoko Ochi, who becomes his girlfriend. Fukase decides to confront the truth of the past in order to protect the people dear to him.

His father is a famous conductor. Ren is a perfectionist and musical genius. He is very clear about what he likes and doesn't like. At first, Ren is against Mio becoming a member of A.N.JELL. Shu Fujishiro (Taisuke Fujigaya) ) is a 23-year-old guitarist. He is soft and generous. His personality is the opposite of Ren Katsuragi. He is also as popular as Ren Katsuragi. He raises herbs and likes to drink herbal tea during breaks. He is the first one to realize that Mio is different. Yuki Hongo (Hikaru Yaotome) is 21 years old. He is the drummer for A.N.JELL. Yuki likes hanging around people and is bright. He also makes the mood around the band bright. In real life he is like a boy, but on stage he shows a tougher side. His tough persona makes people crazy about him. Yuki totally trusts Ren and Shu, so he doesn't like Mio, because he thinks Mio makes Ren nervous.

Ataru, who suffers from "savant syndrome," has the power to discover, observe, see through, and deduct microscopic evidence of unsolved cases. Why does he always go to the criminal sites? What explains his strange behavior? His sad past will be revealed as the story unfolds. An explosion occurs at a chemical factory, leaving one person dead. The investigation team concludes that it is merely an accident, but Ebina Maiko has her doubts. When she goes to the site again, she finds a man who introduces himself as "Chokozai." After blurting out a series of words that Maiko cannot understand, he suddenly falls asleep. Maiko decides to look up the meaning of these words. She is taken aback when she discovers that when put together, these words provide the key to solving the case.

French chef Ken, who went back in time to the Sengoku period and became the personal chef of Oda Nobunaga, has regained a part of his lost memory. He learnt the way to return to the present with the help of Akechi Mitsuhide but did not go back and chose to live as Nobunaga’s chef. Nobunaga’s biggest and strongest enemy, the warlord Takeda Shingen and Nobunaga’s official wife Nouhime appears, heralding ups and downs in the relationship of trust between Nobunaga and Ken. And will Mitsuhide cause the Honnoji Incident?

A mystery unfolds with a woman named Madoka (Maki Horikita), who is a killer, and Ataru (Masahiro Nakai). The woman possesses the same extraordinary memory and deductive reasoning abilities as Ataru.

Kyonosuke Kawamura is the successor to the prestigious Kishima family. He performs as a kabuki stage actor. One day, as he is leaving the theater, Kyonosuke Kawamura hears cheers from girls who are waiting for him. There, Ayame Chiba, who also attends the same high school, approaches him and shouts out "that is not Kagamijishi and I want my money back!"

Due to excessive expectation as the successor of the Kishima family, Kyonosuke becomes sick and tired of kabuki. He plays with best friend Haruhiko Sakamoto and female fans until late into the night. When he arrives back home, his father Yozaemon, who is a master in kabuki, scolds him. An argument ensues. Yozaemon has never acknowledged Kyonosuke's efforts. That is a big reason why Kyonosuke has become estranged from kabuki. He also can't forgive his father for always placing kabuki as his first priority. His father did not show up when his mother became gravely ill and died.

Kyonosuke then meets Ayame at school. She again complains about his performance. Kyonosuke also learns that Ayame has a favorite actor. He's embarrassed by her complaints. For his next performance, Kyonosuke shows up practice, but he is chewed out by his instructor Matsukichi. Others, including Shohei Sawayama, watch this and make fun of Kyonosuke behind his back. Kyonosuke also hears from his rival Ichiya Sawayama that he was shocked at his performance. Kyonosuke feels numb.

French chef Ken travels back in time to Sengoku period. Due to travelling through the timeslip, Ken has lost his memory, but still retains his knowledge on fine cuisine. Thanks to his excellence in cuisine, Ken eventually becomes the chef to powerful daimyo Nobunaga Oda.
