Following Zeni no Senso and Uso no Senso, Wana no Senso is the third work of the "war" series. The drama centers around Washizu Toru, a parliamentary secretary who is betrayed by a member of the Parliament, to whom he has devoted 20 years of his life, and decides to take revenge on the politicians who wield power over him.

"Himawari" is a comedy that focuses on the main character, Akiko, who works in the same company as her father, Kenichi No.1 and wants to become a manga artist. Akiko's love interest is Kenichi No.2.

But when she visits her grandmother Shoko who lives on Nagasaki’s Goto Islands which has a rich natural environment, she is entranced by the Baramon kites that catch the wind and soar high in the sky. Wanting to fly high in the sky like these kites, Mai’s longing swells into a dream to become a pilot. Even though she works hard, the path to getting there is tougher than she had imagined. As Mai deepens her ties with the people living in her two hometowns of Higashi Osaka and Goto, her dream eventually takes a new form. She gathers enthusiastic friends to build a small electric plane that can fly to and from the islands. Her dream becomes a wing that carries everyone’s dreams and takes off.

"Himawari" is a comedy that focuses on the main character, Akiko. Akiko and her father, Kenichi No.1, work for the same company. Akiko's love interest is Kenichi No.2.

Set in the 1990's, high school student Ayu lives with her mother and grandmother in Fukuoka. She works as a model, but, to pursue an acting career, she goes to Tokyo with her grandmother. While attending a high school, she picks up acting work, but only minor roles. One day, Ayu meets Masa, who is the executive director of record label A Victory. He decides to make Ayu into a singer. According to Masa, Ayu prepares to make her debut as a singer. Meanwhile, she encounters jealousy from rivals at her record label. Trusting Masa, Ayu endures her problems. She also develops feelings for Masa and Masa also holds feelings for her.

After the Onin War, the world is plunged into chaos. Amid this situation, heroes of the warring states begin to emerge in an attempt to unify the country and rule in these turbulent times. The Crime Victims Support Unit exists within each prefectural police. The job of the unit is to provide all sorts of information such as the progress of an investigation or trial, give advice as well as help out in the lives of victims, who have unwittingly ended up involved in crimes, and their family members. This work is not confined to specialised knowledge-based support, but covers a wide range from being there for scarred victims, assisting in funeral services to dealing with the mass media and arranging for taxis for moves. While unit members may visit a scene with investigators, they have not been empowered with the authority to investigate so far. However, Togakure Tetsuya (Takahashi Katsunori) who was once a detective of the Kyoto Prefectural Police’s First Investigative Division, has the conviction that what victims and their family want to know the most, is the truth. He would embark on his own informal investigations as an extension of the usual assistance, with the backing of Iwase Koichiro (Matsudaira Ken), the head of the Police Affairs Department, and guides cases to swift resolution.

A murder occurs in a MRI model in the new Autopsy Imaging Center of the Tojo University Hospital. Kohei Taguchi (Atsushi Ito) & Keisuke Shiratori (Toru Nakamura) investigates the death. The body of a young lady, who had been fatally stabbed in a back alley of Yokohama’s shopping and entertainment district, is discovered. Four detectives from the Fourth Section of Minato-cho Police Precinct’s Criminal Affairs Division – Togashi Masayoshi, Iinuma Reiko, Shibata Yasuharu and Yamashita Manabu – quickly rush to the scene. Togashi finds something in the pocket of the dead body and nonchalantly hides it in his own suit. He presumes Reiko and the others will turn a blind eye even though they have noticed it. Detectives from the prefectural police’s First Investigative Division arrive shortly after that. The members of the Fourth Section, who have been deprived of their right to investigate by the First Investigative Division, dejectedly walk away from the scene. However, they secretly begin their own investigation. Three days later, Satonaka Keiichiro, the Fourth Section’s new chief, arrives. Satonaka himself believes he has been demoted to the precinct because of he denounced the unfair appointment of the prefectural police chief’s nephew. However, the objective of Maejima Ryuzo, the head of police administration who sent him into Minato-cho Police Precinct, is to let Satonaka keep tabs on Togashi and the Fourth Section. Maejima warns Satonaka that there is a “bad rumour” about the Fourth Section. Togashi and the others are seen as misusing their high arrest rate and frequently disobeying the orders of the prefectural police. In fact, they are even suspected of all kinds of illegal activities which include extorting confessions under duress, having cosy ties with crime syndicates and accepting bribes. Tokunaga Yasushi, the former section head who was investigating the facts, had lost his footing on the rooftop of a building while pursuing a robber and had fallen to his death... Was Tokunaga’s death really an accident?! Satonaka regards his new subordinates with caution but the four of them are unexpectedly affable and excellent detectives, especially Togashi who is a stimulating and gallant man. They give Satonaka a thorough report on the investigation into the murder which occurred three days ago, and say that they are searching for eyewitnesses in line with the prefectural police’s position that it was a “random attack”. He feels relieved to see their serious manner. However, several days later, Satonaka discovers that their entire report was nonsense...!

Not knowing Fuyuko's true identity, Kosuke finds himself slowly falling for her and thus, he starts to try to get to know the true Fuyuko...
